My child spent two years at Little Lambs Preschool, which feeds into Pacific Coast Christian Academy. He is now in kindergarten. I LOOOVE PCCA! I plan on keeping him here through the eighth grade. My son receives a top notch education. He is reading better than most public school second graders. He feels safe, happy, and loved. His teacher is a saint, gifted with working with small children. In addition to the excellent academics throughout PCCA, the whole staff is dedicated to teaching the whole child. Personal responsibility and community outreach is emphasized. Though small in size, the pluses that PCCA offers make up for the fact that it doesn't have a sports program. The smaller school size means smaller classes, which means more time for each child. The rural setting is nice. The teachers, support staff, pastor, and principal are committed to Christian education and to their students. They are wise, knowledgeable, and they are exemplary role models. PCCA offers PE, music (which includes performances twice a year, art, band, and private piano lessons. Although PCCA encourages parent help, they do not require it. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone in the area.
The staff at PCCA are very qualified. JH teacher won the "Crystal Apple Award." All teachers have bachelors degrees and some have masters. Music and PE program. Music program includes 2 musicals/year that includes drama, soloists and a choir. Classroom instruction including history, theory and appreciation is also part of the music curriculum. Most of all, there is no mistaking that this is a Christian school. The children are showered wtih prayer and the love of Jesus. It is a loving and clean environment. My children love it here!
