Comics Plus

WELL THE STORE IS CLOSED AND NOW THERE IS NO WHERE ELSE TO GO!... If anyone knows of another opening that would be great because its kind of a bummer it being the only one and now there no being any at all.

NOTE: I did not give Comics Plus three stars. This site won't let me pick two stars.
Comics Plus would be a great store if it wasn't for the OWNER, Dan or Bob or something. He never orders crap for good indie comics, and most of the time when you have a pull order he doesn't even have enough copies to fulfill them. Just because he has a store down the hill, inland empire, doesn't mean he should forsake the high desert store and send all the good backissues to the i.e. store or sell them on ebay. Maybe I would like to buy them. I would definitely prefer to buy backissues in store rather than online or having to drive for forty five minutes to get good comics. I don't think the owner really cares about his customers, just his customers wallets. I can say there are two saving graces for the store though: it's the only store up here (ugh!) and the Clerks are always nice to talk to, I used to come in every week just to argue with Tim when he worked there and I've had more than a few good conversations with the new kid in the glasses.

Since this is the only comic shop in the desert, it's the best. It is actually one of the better shops that I have been in. They have a great variety of comics, toys, posters, books, busts, etc. They have rpg card games some nights of the week. They are open later on Friday and Saturday. The staff is nice and the store is always clean.

Comics Plus is the best comic shop in the High Desert. It's true that it's the only comic shop in the High Desert, but it carries all the right stuff and more (toys, collectibles, t-shirts, etc.). New merchandise arrives every Wednesday without fail.

I love Comics+. They carry comics, toys, posters, books, and much more that is comic/anime related. The staff is friendly. They are open a little later on Saturday nights.

My husband could spend way too much money here. They have everything he wants and never has a problem getting the newest comics. The kids love going in there too because they have comics to fit all ages.
