Le Video

I love Le Video. This store is a reason to go to video stores instead of only using Netflix or OnDemand.

The selection is amazing. No matter what type of movie you are looking for, they probably have the appropriate category. They have a Nunsploitation category! With a wide selection for that as well.

The staff is knowledgeable and only mildly pretentious. They usually have good recommendations, especially if you are looking to see something completely different and random.

My friends and I decided to go on a cruise and to get us in the mood, I wanted to rent cruise-related movies. A couple of titles came up after searching, and after calling 2 Blockbusters and 1 Hollywood, only Le Video had it in stock.

Keep up the good work. Your company is great!

What a find! You can rent an amazing and diverse selection of films at Le Video. They specialize in foriegn film, independent films, and whacky stuff you've never seen before. Hugh selection and new titles as well. I also find that there is great people watching in the store... what a bunch of characters.

This video store is one unlike any Blockbuster around. You can find the most obsure titles that major rental stores do not carry. It is espeically known for their foreign films.

PROS: Many obscure titles.
CONS: Short rental times.

If you're looking for that most hard to find foreign film with Russian subtitles, you'll find it here! Incredibly diverse and eclectic selection of foreign, independent, blockbuster and cult films unsurpassed in the Bay Area. One of my favourites for many years.

One of my classmates suggested this store to me when I needed to find a movie for class. I looked EVERYWHERE, and I could not find it. I went to this store, and I got lost looking for the movie. They had movies I have never seen before in any other video store and I ended up renting a few. I always go back because they have such a big selection and the prices are pretty reasonable. I would highly recommend this video store to anyone!!

Le Video is one of the best movie places that I have even had the pleasure of visiting. Although the location is a little out of the way it is well worth the trip on the N-Judah to get there and look through the stacks. It is a good time to just look at the titles, no renting necessary. If you do decide to rent look into the upstairs collections, there is some really odd and funny stuff up there.

Le Video is the best video rental store, with thousands of films in videos and aslo in DVDs.They have a huge collection of rare and foreign films that you cannot find anywhere else. Also, interesting is that the videos are arranged in different order. for example, you may find the same film arranged under directors and under languages or under type of movie. this makes it very easy to find. their staff is very well informed and can quickly locate the video. Not you everyday blockbuster, but is undoubtedly a very special rental store. Beware, there's hardly any street parking and you may have to double park and take your chances, or park in the golden gate park and walk back.

You will find no larger selection or a more eclectic and varied selection of videos. They have every foreign film you never heard of and the employees know more about movies than anyone really should.

The absolute best video store I have ever been in. The selection is unbelievable. They have videos and DVDs of just about everything - foreign, cult, rare, and more. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff that can help you find exactly what you are looking for. You can also call ahead and see if they have a title in stock.
