Marcus bookstore is located in North Oakland a block away from MacArthur BART station. They carry newly released books, magazines, as well as older books that have been out of print. You can also find calendars, greeting cards, and writing journals all reasonably priced.
Unlike a lot of larger bookstore chains, the staff at Marcus can not only direct you to the book youre looking for, but they can make suggestions for other books as well because amazingly they have either read or discussed all the books they sell.
