    I went in about 1 montgh ago for some copies. I forgot to get a receipt which I need for my records. I called and even though they did not have to, the person who I told about my dilemma offered to help assist anyways. this customer service went above and beyond, and when i am in the store they are always very helpful as well.

    After reading the reviews about this center I was a little worried (a lot of negatives). I had a deadline to return a Dell laptop. I was having lots of trouble getting the laptop into the return box. The box started to fall apart. I called FedEx and spoke with a nice young man, Walter, and asked if they could help me package up the laptop so I could return it. Walter said yes he would help me. When I arrived Walter was more than accommodating and helped me with everything. I couldn't have been happier. I'd say Walter is an exceptional worker. I give him an A+.

    I called to inquire about a Notary Public service that I needed on Sunday. I was told that the Notary for this location was only available from Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 pm even though the employee was at this location all day. Furthermore, I was told that I had to make an appointment as well. I told the clerk that UPS has a full time Notary on the premises from Monday to Friday and was told that she knew that, but that is all they would accomodate. She was unwilling to make the NP available in the morning of any of these days even though the NP is on site, an employee but unwilling to schedule anytime out of this narrow window. As a result, I went to the phone book and there are local persons in the area that will accomodate me without any issues. Again, Fed Ex does not come through when you need them!!

    Procrastination has led me to a quick hop to kinkos at 2 am. these 2 bunch of doof balls were hanging around, one of them pretending like he's doing something on the phone, other one messing around with the copy machine in the back. Other three stooges were smoking cigs right outside the rear entrance. I go up to one of the idiots and ask him if i can blow up my drawings up to 18 ' X 24', (key here, is that i have been thru this process in the morning before at the same location, so i was expecting the same results.) and the guy flat out said "we have a lot of work to do, and the earliest i can get it done for you is by 8 in the morning.     Horrible place. Anybody that needs some office work done, and you're stuck like me at late night, I'm sure In-n-Out even has a machine in the back that they can help you out even with a couple double-doubles in your tummy.

    I do customer service myself 10 hrs a day with a smile on my face and when I am having a bad day I still do my job and help the customer. These people at this location at FedEx Kinkos had no customers to help just me and all I had was a simple question of how to transfer a 8 x 10 picture to a cd-rom and all they told me was "over there on the computer next to the wall, read the paper and follow the instructions". What the hell? And the two employees turn around and keep chatting amongst themselves. I stand there bewildered as to why someone wouldn't actually show me what I need to be doing. I couldn't figure out what I needed to do even with paper instructions and asked repeatedly for their help and they actually tried to ignore me. So I just walked out with nothing.

    Not only staffs are unfriendly, they are ignorant and unreliable. They say one thing and changes their mind.     Because of its convenience to my house, I have been there numerous times despite my initial bad experiences with customer service. I have always received quality, fast service at the many other Kinkos I've been to- but Colorado Blvd. has made some poor hiring and training decisions it seems. It almost became funny as each bad experience topped my last. Of course, now I will drive farther to a Staples or Offixe Max because of the inexcusable service. There was a lot of comraderie in the line because of the customers expressing to one another their disbelief.
    BTW, this all applies to the side of Kinkos with the self-serve photocopy and faxing services. I didn't use the other side.

    1) No one wants to make eye-contact because then they might have to help (gasp) the customer. The feeling is that customers are interrupting their work.
    2) in the middle of helping you fax, they will walk away and make you wait for them long after your fax has gone through or just forget to come back and tell you if your fax went through or process the payment. You have to flag someone esle down to finish the transaction. This has been done by multiple people. At least they could say they'll be right back and be Right Back!
    3) They don't say thank you or you're welcome.
    4) the counter never seems to be staffed. You wait for a long time before someone comes over and usually you have to find someone yourself. They aren't looking to see if you need help. There have been 3 in a line when I was there...waiting for someone to notice. Meanwhile, there seems to be sooo many people working there. What are they doing? Not helping the customer.

    First they dirtied my orginals. After I brought a new one, they misplaced it and I had to call and remind them about my order. Some of the employeess are on top of it and some don't know what they are doing. Communication gets lost in between people and shifts.\n\n

    This place has excellent customer service. That is important. The associates don't bother you if you don't need assistance, but if you do need help with something they are very knowledgeable. You can make copies, scan stuff, use the computers, ship things out, do it all here!

    This store is wonderful. You can ship stuff DHL or Fed Ex and still use the computers, make copies, send faxes, etc. The people here are really friendly and helpful, but being that this is on Colorado Blvd it is really hard to park here.

You simply walk in, find an empty computer, insert your credit card (just like at the gas station) and take care of whatever last-minute crisis caused you to go there in the first place. Submitted completed form, only to be told I had used the "international "form and directed to return and complete the correct one. I requested some help, to which she responded "No, not now" Clerk returned to doing nothing. Employees with attitudes like this should not be dealing with the public; they give the entire brand a bad name.

    i've been faxing somewhat time-sensitive contracts back and forth long distance (just moved from another state; my house was sold after the move). the first fax from my realtor didn't come in at all. so he tried again. and again. and then he tried faxing from a different machine. and the fax *still* didn't arrive. now, we were standing at kinko's waiting for this fax the whole time. the kinkoan didn't seem concerned or, frankly, particularly interested at all in the fact that his fax machine wasn't working. we weren't given any indication that it would ever be repaired. instead, we were instructed (without apology) that if we needed the fax, we should drive down to the south pasadena location. (aside: we did, and the fax came through ok -- but then we couldn't *outbound* fax. i'm thinking it's because the out-of-state fax machine was still tied up trying to talk to the first kinko's.)

    then, today, we had our realtor fax to kinko's again. (it's not that we're gluttons for punishment; it's that this store is very close to our house and south pasadena, well, isn't.) this time we didn't go down there first. but a couple of hours after our realtor reported faxing the contract, we still hadn't heard from kinko's. i called and learned that the fax had arrived but that kinko's hadn't had time to call the way they were supposed to.

    sigh. at least we only have one house to sell.

    I wasted too much time waiting on lines and then not receiving any help. After 1 \nhour I finally walked out. I will never use this location again due to incompetent, \nunfriendly, non attentive staff. No customer service. In my opinion, the only reason they stay in business is due to their location.

    This place is favorable to one's needs it has access to many copy machines and you can send or receive faxes they also have access to making copies of your favorite pictures and if you need copies of your blue prints this is the place , you want quality on your homework, resume or even personal paper work go here and you will see the difference.
