My dog somehow was able to open a bag of Dove's dark chocolate candies, take the foil wrappers off of them, and eat 16 out of 30 pieces! When I got home from work I found my dog continuously vomiting up chocolate and I didn't know what to do. I looked online and found out dogs who eat dark chocolate die from the stuff! I was frantic and didn't know what to do to stop his vomiting. I decided to call Roxford Veterinary Clinic and fortunately it was still open. I was told to bring my dog over right away. When Dr. Long saw my dog, she was honest with me and said his condition was very serious. She gave my dog a shot and some charcoal which seemed to calm his condition down. I decided to take Sam home and hoped for the best. Dr. Long called the next morning to see how Sam was doing. I am happy to say he survived the ordeal and is doing fine today. I am so grateful to Dr. Long for saving my dog. She is an excellent vet and there is no other place I would ever take my animals. I highly recommend Dr. Long and Roxford Veterinary Clinic.

we have been taking our 3 dogs to her for over 6 years....she may not be very talkative...but I can't really complain about her. One of our dogs was very ill & we were told by another clinic we would have to put him to sleep. A combination of a Natural Healer (natural medicine) & Dr. Long, saved our pups life.

I used to take my animals to this vet. While the staff is friendly and helpful, the vet is greedy and has zero compassion.

I had 2 animals die and while I don't blame her and won't state that it was her fault, she lead me to believe that there was hope and thus spend plenty of money in order to attempt to save the animals. When both died, this is a year apart, she showed no compassion at all either time, and is really a very cold person. I have since found another vet to take my animals to. I don't recommend Teresa Long.

First of all, I must clarify that the only reason I am giving one "star" to this clinic is because the system didn't allow me to post my review without a "rate"... My real rating for this location is ZERO!!!!Please, accept my advice and don't take your pets to this clinic. The "doctor" Long doesn't care of pets, she's only interested in the money she can get from you. I am going to regret the rest of my life the day I chose this veterinary. At the end my dog suffered a lot thanks to this so called "doctor".She's so far to be considered a good "doctor" because it doesn't matter how sick is your pet, if she has personal things to do, your pet won't be attended correctly, she will only see them superficially, if she is magnanimous enough to give your pet some or her "time"On our second visit to her "clinic" "doctor" Long only saw my dog for 4 MINUTES because she was running late to pick her children up, but of course, the visit fee was charged as if she had seen him for 1 hr.While my dog was under treatment with her, his condition NEVER improved, on the contrary it was worse day by day). On 9/12/07 and after 3 visits to this clinic in less than 3 weeks, I called "doctor" to tell her my dog was very sick because he couldn't stand up (the shaking legs problem was reported since the first visits, but the only answer we received was that the dog was "weak") and that I needed she see my dog. She told me to take the dog to the clinic but when I told her that I 'd be with her in around 45 minutes because I had to go Santa Clarita Valley to pick him up, she told that she couldn't wait for us because it was HER DAY OFF and the only thing she could do for me was to set up an appointment for next day (is this an example of love-caring veterinarian? I don't think so). Later I called to this "clinic" begging for some kind of medication because my dog was on pain and the answer that I received from the "doctor's" assistant was "Dr. Long said she can't give any medication because FIRST she NEEDS SEE the dog!!!!!" Can you believe this? How many times did she need to see the dog when, by that time, he had been under her "care" for more than 3 weeks!!!. That day my dog passed away, and what makes me suffer more was his agony. He didn't deserve this pain because he was an ANGEL!!"Doctor" Long was charging for every little thing. For example, she personally gave me the cost of the second round of blood and urine tests, but next day when I went to the "clinic" her assistant told "doctor" Long forgot to tell me about some kind of test (blood) and I must paid $55 more, which I paid because I wanted to know what my dog's illness was (because she never got to know what the real problem was). Another example is when she put my dog under IV treatment, the first IV was on "doctor" Long's office (of course paying even for the oxygen we were breathing) but since it was very expensive, I decided to put the IV at home. One of the "doctor" Long's staff members taught me how to do so at home...the situation is that I paid $63.00 for 4 1000ml fluid bags and I was very surprised when checking in the internet, the average price of these fluid bags is $6.00 each!!!!!!!!!!!Please, don't take your pets to this clinic unless you want lose your pet as well as your money.

My father took his cat to a emergency vet clinic in West Hollywood. They did all kind of tests and he spent a LOT of money. The cat was not getting better after all the money spent.

I suggested that he take the cat over to Roxford vet clinic. Dr. Long took 8 minutes to diagnose the cat. His cat is now happy and on a special food that she recommended.

My dog had bone cancer. I thought that I was going to have to put him down. She suggested special pain pills that let him live an additional year with me.

I highly recommend Roxford Vet Clinic for an honest and caring diagnosis.

I have been taking all 3 of my cats here and can't dream of taking them anywhere else. All the vet techs and office staff are really nice. They offer low-cost cash only vaccination clinics 2 times a week and have been very helpful with my newest cat, who has anxiety issues. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is new to the neighborhood. They charge reasonable fees and are pretty upfront about what you're going to pay if additional treatments are needed.

PROS: Great staff, friendly atmosphere.
CONS: They have a tiny parking lot so it's hard to find a spot sometimes.
