I took a parenting class here with Caroline as the instructor. She was awesome! I learned so much in that class and I had gone in thinking it was going to be a waste of time. They have a good resource library and a good selection of products. I like the weighing and changing station. Parking can be hard, especially when the garage is full.

I used to go to DayOne almost daily with my newborn. They have a spot where you can weigh and change your baby. There are gliders and chairs scattered throughout so you can hang out with other parents. It's a very supportive place if you want to breastfeed. I really liked the support groups. I made some great friends there! My husband really liked the Dad and Baby massage class.

If you are a first time mom, check out the new parent support groups. Its a great place to connect with other wide eyed first timers and an opportunity to ask all questions. Don't be surprised if you start amazing friendships in that room.

Day One offers a wide array of classes on childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, infant care, CPR, infant massage, you name it. They also have new-parent groups that meet daily. They have personally selected the best products for expectant mamas and infants - from nursing bras to baby carriers. They have Certified Lactation Consultants on site. They also have listings for Birth and Postpartum Doulas and pre/post-natal massage therapists.

DayOne is staffed by experienced lactation consultants and others who are clued into the experience of expecting and new mom's. They aren't cheap, but they are also highly recommended and regarded in the community. They run a whole series of support groups for parents and their lactation specialists are wonderful - very supportive and understanding and creative. Worth a visit!
