I have shopped @ Walgreen's since they first opened - I have lived in the neighborhood since 1964! I appreciate the total cooperation and friendliness of the staff!!!

On two separate occations, our physician has faxed in a perscription that (several hours later) isn't filled when I get there. On the first occasion, they assured me no perscription had come in, but then they hadn't checked for faxed perscriptions. They found it and filled it while I waited for 20 minutes. On the second occasion, they had the perscription but just hadn't bothered to fill it. I said I'd come back in 20 minutes. When I did, the person responsible for "typing it up" had gone to lunch so I had to wait even longer. This is after they've had the "scrip" for about five hours. I think the real problem isn't incompetence but overwork. They pharmacy staff always appears flustered and just about at the end of their rope.

If you're going to use this place, call before you come to verify the perscription is ready!

i am extremely unimpressed with this walgreens. everything is in disarray. the aisles always have things falling into them. they have a very sweet older woman who works as a cashier but their management stinks. i once had to wait over 15 minutes because they didn't have enough cash to give back to me. the manager was paged at least 15 times and did not respond to one page. finally i had to go complain to someone else before they did anything else.
