FROM WHAT I HEAR IT DOESN'T MATTER WHICH LOCATION YOU GO TO THEY ARE ALL HORRIBLE. I went there with my friend who was looking for her wedding dress. When we walked in the big store was completely empty and the sales women asked if we have an appointment? We said no we just wanted to take a look at the dresses. She said we would need to make an appointment. Then she changed her mind and said she could "squeeze us in" before her next apt. We thought ok. Well the said you can try on 6 dresses. We asked in total or to start? She said no we top you off at 6 total we wouldn't want to confuse you. These people make you feel so unimportant and put you down. They are rude and snooty cold and stuffy and I don't know why.
With this I know better then you attitude. The manager argued with the bride to the point of yelling. They were not helpful and when the bride asked for the designers name and style of the dress they told her wrong. These people lie and say what they need to just to make the sale. Don't be fooled. Sure they have some pretty dresses but so do a lot of places there's thousands of places and with actually good service. The service was terrible they measured my friend wrong 2 times also wrong and even though my friend found a pretty dress she went to another store and found it for half the price elsewhere. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE BECAUSE TRUST ME YOU DON'T NEED THE STRESS. BRIDES HAVE ENOUGH STRESS AND BUYING YOUR DRESS SHOULD BE PLEASURABLE.

I have just spent 5 minutes trying to figure how to give these people negative starts! The worst service I've ever received and I over paid! I went to Mary Linn's with my grandma and I found the "it" dress. But there was something off about the way it sat on my hips since I'm petite. The sales lady told me it would sit better on me once it came in my size. I have had a bad feeling since I felt. First they measured me wrong and tried to order the dress in the same size as in the store size 13. I'm 5'1 and 110 pounds. Then after arguing with me how they are the professionals and they know what they are doing they ordered it in a size 10. I came back the next day with my maid of honor and tried on the dress to show her and the girl said oh I guess you are swimming in it I'll order the size 8. What is this a guessing game? I am still in Beverly Hills right? Where was the seamstress in all this? They turned short and snobby as soon as I paid I guess I wasn't important anymore. Then a few weeks later while shopping for bridesmaids dresses I found the same dress for 1000 dollars less in another store. It was a size 8 and I tried it on. till too big! The lady said we'll need to special order it in a short version so the hips are in the right place this will elongate you she moved up the waiste and this dress sat beautifully on me. It wade such a difference. She said that a seamstress should measure me with my shoes and petticoat if I choose to wear one so that they will get it correct. Why wasn't I told all this at Mary Lynn's? When I called to ask them about the mess up and the price they got defensive, hung up on me and where completely unwilling to work with me. They told me its impossible. And they won't return my money. My advice don't go to Mary Linn's go to a place called Love Boat in Temple City. Ask for Irene. She is nice, she will give you the service you want and deserve with half the price its where I am getting my whole party's dresses including my own.

I made the mistake of doing business with these people. They screwed up the alteration of my dress, denied any problem and refused to correct it. (I ended up having to hire someone else to fix it). The manager was the rudest person I've ever met -- arguing with me and at one point even yelling.

I later learned through bridal forums about the tag ripping and other shady practices this business uses. WIsh i'd known that beforehand. They also have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Do yourselves a favor and run, don't walk, to another store.

While they had a wide selection of gowns, this was not the place to go if you want a unique or contemporary dress. Many traditional dresses here. Rather cold salespeople. Unfortunately they have the (common but illegal) practice of ripping out tags so that you don't know the designer's name (to avoid you finding a discount elsewhere)!

This bridal salon is one that rips out tags and you have to ask (and hope you have a nice consultant) who will tell you what you trying on. This salon has a much smaller selection than its sister store in Pasadena. They carry alot of Maggie Sotteros and have a decent range of mid to high end designers.
