I've been going here for 20 years. This little gem is your classic neighborhood "greasy spoon" except that it's anything but greasy. I'm a sommelier. I know pretentious restaurants and corporate clones. This aint it. Good?no, GREAT, simple food, attentive service, HOME MADE HASH-OMG!!! And, the same two friendly owners who actually are there and even sit down with regulars when they are not scrambling to stay on top of service. Who knew guys like this still owned restaurants! Come here and you'll think you?re at your Aunt Fannie's. BTW: a secret Valley celeb hangout.

Pros: PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE

Cons: Don't forget the CASH!!! The guy next door is getting rich from the ATM he installed.

Whether you go for an early breakfast, a light brunch or a late lunch- this place is usually packed with locals who cannot get enough of the place and its classic plates. Eggs, Pancakes, Waffles- you name it- they got what you want for breakfast, and even when the cafe is crowded you do not have to wait long for your tasty meal. They offer fresh, healthy salads and sandwhiches for the brunchin' and lunchin' crowds and you can mix and mingle with your group while you watch the constant action the behind the counter. The Little Cafe is lovely and quaint- it feels like home as soon as you step in.

Pros: Great Food, Great Service

Cons: can get pretty crowded, but the wait is not bad

I love this place and Roscoe's. Two different spots but very very good food at both places. I also enjoy VIP's in Tarzana.
