I think I first did business with SFHC in the late 1980s. I recently looked them up and was delighted to find their website. Not much has changed over the years: SFHC still offers a tremendous selection of herbs, spices, potpourri, botanicals, essential oils, fragrance oil, spice mixes (e.g. garam masala) and so much more. If I sound like a commercial for them it's because I love their products.\r
\r
Check out the website and you'll be amazed at their selection. Minimum order is $30. Two weeks ago I ordered herbs and essential oils to make bath salts and herb infusions. The shipment arrived promptly and I felt like a kid on Christmas morning opening my box.\r
\r
On of my all-time favorite purchases from SFHC was the spices I ordered to make spiced cider mix: cinnamon sticks, whole allspice, chopped/dried orange peel, and whole cloves. Mix them together with apple cider, simmer and enjoy. Or add to water and simmer just to make your house smell good. \r
\r
It may seem hard to believe, but it's actually not so easy to get to that $30 minimum because few people need a pound of peppermint or a pound of cloves, but it's worth showing the site to friends to get the order together. You will save some serious cash.
