Tonight, my family took a trip to Shasta Lanes. We bowled several games, met old friends, and made new ones.

Bob Johnson was tonight's chef-de-cuisine. He made quite an impression on me, and my family. He was courteous, and quick on his feet. His cooking skills rival my mother, and that's saying something!

Don Nienau ran the register, and kept the good times rolling. He, too, was well-mannered, courteous, and very professional. I'd be lucky to have him, and Bob, in my employ.

Casey (last name unknown) ran the bar. Like Bob, he was quick to respond, and knowledgeable regarding the many drinks my mother chose to imbibe.

Luckily, and thankfully, she doesn't need to work tomorrow, or I fear she may not have been capable of working. So thanks, Casey, my mother owes you for a good time!

I'd also like to point out that the lanes were top-class. Well-kept, with just the right amount of friction and oil. The only thing keeping me from bowling a perfect game was.. well.. me!

In parting, the food was excellent, the music was top-class (for a bowling alley), and I would recommend this place to all of my friends, as well as those who seek a great bowling experience.

P.S.: To the folks at Shasta Lanes, thanks for a great time, and I'll be seeing you guys again!!

The tall man with the red hair working at the counter is EXTREMELY rude! I watched him berate several customers and as a business owner I would be ashamed to have him as an employee!!

This past weekend I brought my family to Shasta Lanes. I have three kids ages 7,11 & 14. We attended the early Rock & Bowl from 6-8pm. The kids had a blast when the band started playing and the light show began. We were having so much fun we stayed for the late Rock & Bowl and a few friends joined us. The staff was friendly, the building was clean and every lane was packed with people having fun. I would recommend Rock & Bowl at Shasta Lanes to everyone.

While the prices are pretty low for bowling, the place sort of looks deserted! It's an old building, and not very crowded most of the time. There are not that many lanes in the building, but maybe they don't fill them up on a regular basis. They could bring a little style to the place, too, they are just a building with lanes and bowling balls, and that's about it. It may have changed over the past year or so, but that's how it was for many years.
