Pepe's Italian

I actually go to this restaurtant pretty regularly. Waitstaff is friendly. Pizzas are good (try Darla's Favorite), and there are great pasta sauces to chose from for the pasta dishes.
Also, try the house chianti or the sangria- both are excellent.
Prices are very reasonable, so definitely try it out!

I visit this quaint Italian restaurant every time I visit from CT. Love the original paintings on the walls and the tables covered with wine corks and glass tops. Very original! The sauce is so thick and the spices are just perfect. Dozens of pizza selections. Prices are very reasonable and I recommend this place to everyone I meet who plan on visiting San Diego.

I had dinner at PEPE THE FIRST TIME 12 YEARS AGO WHEN THEY FIRST OPENED ...AND WE HAve BEEN FRIENDS EVER SINCE.The atmosphere is warm and welcoming,the service is prompt and friendly and the food is fantastic!

Our bed & Breakfast guests rave about the wonderful
Italian food at Pepe's. It is all homemade. Ed is the
chef- he is very personable. He comes out and greets
his guests. The pastas are delicious-the salad are so
fresh and crisp-and the desserts homemade by Darla
are to die for !! It is priced.right . We will continue to
dine there -as well as recommend it to all of our B&B customers for lunch or dinner.
Keep up the great work Pepe's !!

Pepe's has the best sangria in town. If you want a killer dinner while sitting in an artists gallery check out this little restaurant with a big taste. Me and 20 others eat here once every month as a social event and love everything about this place. Great pizza, awesome pasta, huge salads, carafes of Chianti, and try the pistachio cake for desert!! Plus your eyes get a treat too...the restaurant walls make a gallery for local inspiration.

This is our "lunch bunch" group of guys favorite spot. Great food - reasonably priced, and friendly - in friendly Ocean Beach. They have take-out in case you don't want to cook tonight. A can't beat it place.

This could be the best pizza I have had in awhile! This unassuming storefront has the best salads, pasta and pizza - Don't pass this up. The service is exceptional, friendly and fast. Not pricey and great for takeout as well.
