this little cafe is a great place for breakfast! I usually go there on sunday mornings and it is never a long wait and the waiters there are always very friendly! I usually get one of their omelettes, which are all very good!

Take Sierra Highway from the SCV for a really nice drive. Discovering the Sweetwater cafe was like an oasis. It's perfectly charming and the perfect place for a nice lunch. There are two rooms that each have a different feel. The porch is also available. I had grilled ham and cheese with divine lemonade and a really good pickle. Mmmm....

Pros: Charm, Ambience, Good Food

.

THe service is excellent and is enhanced by the charming atmosphere. The food is wonderful and the escargot is to rival that of the very best and the filet is always succulent. If you order seafood-try it blackened-YUM! The wine is average with most of the varietels being local...which is to me part of the experience of dining at the Sweetwater. Well worth the drive, which is picturesque in an of itself.
