West Main Animal Hospital

West Main Animal Hospital is a great vet, as long as you patience. Every time I go to this vet, I walk out frustrated. The staff is very nice, but they are so slow. They are very deliberate and exact in their data keeping, and you can tell because they take so long. Even just asking how much to board a dog per day took a full minute to determine.

Additionally, it never fails, there is always some service that needs to be done, and when I say no thank you, I get the eyebrowit never fails. I feel uncomfortable with the expectation they have. Also, I just want to jump over the counter and process their paperwork for them just to get it done.

Their prices seem reasonable as a the shots are well priced but when they start pitching other services, it is just unrealistic to plan on 200+ to get your dogs teeth cleaned, when a set of tires can be purchased for less.

On the plus side, they are very gentle with the animals, and kind to the animals as they are with the people who are patrons. Their turnover is low, and you can see the quality people they hire. Gentle is a good way to describe the office, I wish they would be a little less aggressive with their suggestive selling, and more aggressive with their process.

All my animals are treated very well, the wait is always short and the staff is wonderful! They're all very knowledgeable, patient and caring. Specifically Roxanne, a delightful woman who explained everything to me in full detail. Dr. Frics is always detailed and caring towards my pets. Totally
recommend!

west main animal hospitak is a great vet. It is not all about shots and medicine. Diet vitamins and exercise are considered an equal part of their patient's health. Dr fris has a way of giving the dogs a shot where they don't even feel it.

I took my cat to Dr. Leia Castaneda at West Main Animal Hospital and couldn't be more pleased with the attention and service my cat and I received. The staff was friendly and thorough. However Dr. Castaneda is truly exceptional. She is intelligent and very personable. She was slow and gentle with my older kitty and explained things completely and understandably. I left feeling in very capable, caring hands. The following day she personally called my home to explain lab results, in a very-easy-to-understand manner. I also observed her interacting with her staff and could appreciate a mutual respect. If you can get in to see her, consider yourself lucky!!

I took my puppy for her first visit and was very impressed with all the staff and how much they love animals. Our next visits were equally as enjoyable as the first. The doctors there are very caring with your pets. I recently got another pup as a playmate for my first dog who just turned a year and she is also going here. I want her to have the very best of care. Find out for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

i've been coming here for years with my cat. the staffs are always cordial and professional. i've had the chance to meet with all the vets there and i love all of them. dr. cricks puts you at ease and make you feel like your animal is his family. but my favorite is dr. o'conner. she's very professional. it makes me feel safe to bring my cat to her. she always makes my cat feel better. and she doesn't waste your time. she tells you what's wrong with you pet, your options.

when my dog had to have his annual checkups this is the place of choice for me. they are very good with animals and they are very well trained.their prices are affordable and they explain and answer all your questions. the doctors are outgoing and i always like their interaction with me and my pet.

If I could use ONE word to decribe this hospital , it's staff (not to mention the knowledge they have of animals) and how clean their facility is that word would defenitely be ..."ATLAST"!!!

Took my dog there for his shots. The people are nice and they answer your questions. We didn't have a long wait and my dog seemed ok. Prices are comparable to other vets.

Very attentive of pets. Took care of the ringworms on both our cats quickly!
