Homey, good food. I love the brunch here; eggs benedict and country joe omelets. Lunch: I love the pastas, hamburgers with gouda cheese, Mexican salad, polenta fried, and for dinner: artichoke w/ pasta and chicken, everything is good here. Even with the change of ownership. Fish for dinner is good, and for brunch- their muffins are delicious !!!

I've been dining at the Cafe since 1992 when I moved to West Portal and have always enjoyed it, even after the ownership changed the food and service maintained it's quality if not improved. New specials like the meatloaf special (yummy!),

This twenty nine year old family business has alays been a charming addition to the West Portal Community. Searving brunch on the weekends and lunch and dinner daily, this restuarant always uses the freshest of ingedients, especially the produce. My favorite dish is Eggs Benedict. The chef creates the hollindase sause from scratch. And what I also love about this restaurant is how they celebrate certain holidays. I took my mom here for bunch on Mother's day and they traeted her like a queen with flowers and gifts. Its a really homey environment. But I just noticed a few weeks ago that the owners are going to sell the business. I hope it will stay the same.

Yes, this restaurant has had some changes recently, but keeping restuarant staff isn't easy, and when fewer people come to eat, it is harder to afford larger portions. I assure you that the portions are still more than enough in many

The ambiance of this busy little restaurant is nice.

The wait staff are great, very well presented and very quick and courteous.

The lunch menu is fabulous, the salads are to die for, real big portions with really fresh produce.

The Decor is nice and presents a great location for a business lunch, nice place to take your family or friends.

In the evening it becomes more romantic and a great place for a date.

Great wine slection.

Sometime in the summer of 2005 something happened to this formerly perfect neighborhood restaurant. The menu shrunk, as did the portions. Formerly included side dishes were suddenly ala carte. Unfamiliar staff appeared. And a nasty

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Unpleasant pricing, Shrinking portions, Cutting corners

Cafe for All Seasons is simply one of the BEST neighborhood restaurants in SF! The salads are superb (my favorite, the gouda, but the shrimp and avocado is stunning as well), and the fish is always fresh and prepared to perfection. Weekend

Pros: great food and value, fresh ingredients, exceptional salads

Cons: tables too close, not intimate

Editorial from

This all-American cafe is a no-fuss, non-trendy place where diners can eat (rather than dine on) good solid burgers and pastas. You'll find entrees such as a simple grilled trout topped with herb butter and served with crisp french fries.…
