This has to be some of the largest pizza served at a restaurant. It will feed a hungry family, plus the serve warm garlic bread. This is my favorite place to eat. They also offer a huge banquet room.

Not good, it took awhile to get served, when we finally got bread, we had no bread plates. My Bruno's Antipasto appetizer salad came WITH dinner. My boyfriends spaghetti sat there and got cold while we ate our salad and then it wasn??t what he ordered (no sausage). To finally top it off my Caesar Salad was not edible. Horrible mixture of ingredients, bitter dressing and hard as rock grated cheese on top. Not once did the waiter ask if everything was ok. Called and spoke with CeCe - not very concerned.

When we head down south we go to Bruno;s Pizza. They have terrific pizza. Our favorite is peperoni and they also have an awesome bruschetta pizza that is to die for. They have an extra large which serves a lot and there is plenty left for to take home and enjoy! The dinner salads are a great way to start your meal. On the weekends they get really crowded so you might need to wait, but it is well worth it!

I have both eaten within the restaurant and also ordered takeout pizza. The food was excellent, I ordered a 1/2 spaghetti 1/2 ravioli dinner which includes a dinner salad or soup if you prefer and all you can devour garlic bread. The sauce used for there dishes is second to none as I have not tasted but once or twice before at high end Italian restaurants, some seating is alittle cramped, bathrooms are clean and maintained, small bar at the entrance, all located within restaurant row in San Marcos. If you decide to order a pizza beware, a medium is giant with all the ingredients fresh and no shortcuts with toppings. Prices are good also.

Decor: very cute and cozy. Nice chandeliers.

Service: Friendly

Food: Common stuff- terrible with a sour sauce and sour ricotta
Seafood pastas- high quality 4-5 star restaurant stuff, only with more quantity
pizzas- large and tasty
appetizers- averagely good but wayyyy overprices
side salad- delicious! they actually give olives!
minestrone-tasty
overall experience: Excellent as long as the common sauce cheese, meat and noodle pastas are avoided.

Brunos Italian Restaurant makes dishes like mom used to make. The kind of cal zone only mom could ever make. Most of the dishes are full of garlic and zest. The specialty here is the homemade pasta, just like in Italy. The sizes of the pizzas are huge. The family style portions come natural to this family style restaurant. The owners are full of love and life even at old age. The character of the restaurant makes the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I enjoy every bite at this establishment. I recommend this restaurant to all!!!
Oh yeah the prices are inexpensive and reasonable!!!
