5 Stars: Hobby Co (by Barbara B.)

When I leaved in San Francisco I used to go here all the time for art supplies. They have everything you need for kid's craft project and a BUNCH of hobby items for whatever hobby you have. I like the little doll furniture.

No matter what kind of project you are set out to doing, The Hobby Company, also known as HobbyCo to many locals, is the place to find all your tools and gadgets. They have things from beads, to foam balls, to model planes, to ribbon.

PROS: A plethora of arts and crafts needs.
CONS: Hard to find parking.

5 Stars: Hobby Company Of San Francisco (by bor i.)

Hobby Company Of San Francisco is a pretty pricey store. You can find most items there but expect to pay premium price. I used to live in Richmond District and I used to visit this store and bought lots of wooden stamps.

3 Stars: for the crafter (by G W.)

The Hobby Company Of San Francisco has everything you need to start a fun project with your kids or for yourself. They have project ideas and can show you easy techniques for many. It is a good place to bring your kids and keep them away from Nintendo. But beware, this place is more expensive than those large retailers, but it is definitely more charming.

4 Stars: Hobbies rejoice. (by Kwok C.)

Located near the Geary Mall, the Hobby Company of San Francisco, offers a wide variety of hobby projects to get involved in. They have RC cars, and boats, while very expensive, if you can afford it make a great project for yourself, or the little kids. The store just has a tremendous amount of thought, and great to stop by instead of going to Wal-Mart for your creative fix.

4 Stars: Great Store (by brian l.)

I really like this store since it is close by and provides great service. A lot of things to choose from, I like going with my brother to check out all the cool things they have there. Only thing is that it is a little expensive. I enjoy the who experience though just walking throughout the store.

4 Stars: Arts and Craft (by L W.)

This place is expensive but they have some really good stuff. The store is pretty big and they have all kinds of supplies to fulfill your arts and craft needs. The service is pretty good. They're always willing to help. Overall I give this store 4 stars, one star was deducted for the price.
