I went here because it was conveniently located right next to the theatre. They didn't greet me when I came in and almost looked as if they were disturbed that I came in. We were the only customers at the time and when we ordered, the waitress looked upset at what we ordered because we were going to share a platter. I felt like we were treated like cheap customers who didn't belong in the restaurant. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend unless you're going to be spending a lot. You gotta buy good customer service there.

Their food is just ok. There's nothing remarkable about the food. Also the place seemed kind of cramped when people starts to come in. The service is terrible. I had to wait a very long time just to get sushi and when I did recieve it, the waitress continued to give me and my friend dirty looks. It was the asian lady with glasses. After I paid, she couldnt wait til we left. I am never going there again.
PROS: close to theater and arcade
CONS: everything else

I used to go to this place a lot because the food was ok and in walking distance from UCSD. Unfortunately, the service went from bad to abysmal. I finally had it when they served me food that had been clearly dropped on the ground and put back on the plate. Not only that, they threw it on the table. Finally, they refused to give me change after they figured out that I was probably not going to tip them for their terrible service.

Not the most appealing location (inside a mini-mall next to a movie theater and video arcade) - in other words you aren't going to impress your date by bringing them here. Pretty good prices and decent food, although you wont crave for it after you leave. Satisfying but not all that special in food or experience. It is clean and the service is good.
PROS: Good prices, clean, good service.
CONS: Nothing special, ho-hum type of place.

Ginza has really good sushi for a good price. It's not too expensive for a japanese restaurant. They have good combo plates and sashimi platters. It's located inside of a small mini mall in La Jolla next to the AMC theaters, so a good place to have dinner and a movie in the same night.
