One of the last "Old Time Hobby Shops"
by Bill B.
I love this hobby shop; my interest is in control line and some R/C airplanes and this shop totally reminds me of the hobby shops that my dad took me to when I was a kid in the late 1950s and 1960s. They have so much stuff there, both kits and supplies and it is fun to be able to hold the model supplies in my hands. It is one of the few "Old time" hobby shops remaining.
I have found their prices to be discounted enough so that you can buy their stuff and with the sales tax it comes out about the same as ordering it from the large on-line suppliers.
Internet shopping, which I do, is great but I don't get the same feeling of being able to see and hold the things in my hands. I have found the owner Ed and his wife Marge to be very friendly as long they are approached in a friendly manner.

Found them to be very rude and unwilling to help. I took in my husbands r/c heli and they helped me, but later my husband took it in for the same problem and the guy said he was too busy (although no one was in the store) then he said they don't work on helis. The funny thing is....a year ago they helped me set it up. In the end, I took my problem to Tonys Hobby and they fixed me up in less than 5 minutes. Tonys is a bit pricey, but worth the drive and they are knowledgable and most importantly....nice.

This is a small little hobby shop with a variety of items including lots of models as well as train items. The store is okay, but is overpriced. The merchandise looks a bit dated, but would still hold some good finds for model builders especially.
