Roman's has some wonderful pizza. They also have many other options if you don't feel like pizza. The service not amazing but its not a big deal. It's not that expensive either.

You know, I normally don't care TOO much about a restaurant's healthy options. Except that Roman's actually bills itself as being fresh and healthy, and... it's really not. Sandwiches, salads, pizza stuffed with steak, chicken, seafood and cheese. French fries and mashed potatoes constitute some of their side dishes, as well as onion strings (a greasy mess of battered, thinly sliced onion rings). They have few vegetarian dishes, no soy cheese, and fatty salad dressing (but then again, if you're ordering a BBQ chicken salad topped with the "onion strings" I guess it doesn't matter). In addition, it seems as though they use conventional produce rather than fresh (local) organic produce. Boring salads, sandwiches, wraps, thin-crust pizza (that tastes like it's made on a tortilla) and uninspired side dishes.

The customer service is a joke. The girls who work the counter almost always have heavy Eastern European accents and barely care that you exist. For a place where you order at the counter, the dishes take forever to come out. I'm usually waiting a good 10-15 minutes, and then they always forget something (like if I ordered avocado on top of my pizza, a side of salad dressing... or all of the above). I'd rather go to the Taco Bell drive thru - I'd get more for my money and I'd get it faster. And this is coming from someone who has no problem paying well, for a QUALITY product, that is.

That "free salad bar" that comes with all the meals is pathetic. The "peanut cole slaw" is oily (ewwww) and all the vegetables are limp. The only "salads" are the slaw and a carrot/raisin salad. You can also get some pickles and some "salsa" that's about as spicy as marinara sauce.

Unfortunately I work close to the Sherman Oaks location and don't always feel like walking down to The Dressing Room when I don't bring my lunch, so I give Roman's another shot every few months. Which reminds me why I usually end up at Subway, across the street.

Pros: They have ONE good salad dressing, if they remember to give it to you.

Cons: High price, lousy service, mediocre yet somewhat edible food

I would not recommend Roman's to anyone, not even as a cruel joke. The food is mediocre, totally overpriced, and the service is horrible. Let me say that again, the service at Roman's is terrible and they seem proud of it. I waited for 10 minutes to place my order because the people in front of me were trying to figure out how to order a deli tray and the one (out of probably 8) person working the counter didn't have the manners to take my order while these people counted the number of sandwiches they would need for their party. When I did order the person offered no apology. When my order was ready the girl working the counter mumbled into the microphone. The messed up my order and then told me that I would have to go to the coffee shop to buy cream cheese that it didn't come with the 2 dollar bagle.

Go there and see for yourself if you don't believe me. Roman's has made an art out of bad service, boring food, high prices, and don't forget they stole the interior design style from Baja Fresh. I am beginning to think that Roman's is not really a restaurant, that its a tax write-off or something else. They make no effort to even pretend to care about the food and service.

Worst service in the Valley.

Pros: overrpiced - good way to waste money

Cons: terrible service

Food with no imaginations but imaginative price tags. And to top it all off at this mediocre eartery, the Roman's, offers terrible services.

My friend and I have been there twice. They messed up our orders both of the times and offered NO APPOLOGIES. I suppose their mess-up is so common that they probably have started to believe we should just accept it as normal! Incredible...

They don't have much competitions in the neighborhood when it comes to a cafe, and they know it. We, as customers and people in the community, deserve better food and better services. We shouldn't let Roman's get away with their god-awful services and boring over-priced food any longer. How about my favorite Chipotle to take over that place?? Or any decent casual restaurant...!!

Lot's to choose from with a vast menu, overall the food was good. They give you enough food that you can share an entree, so don't go overboard. For a walk-up and order, then wait for your number to be called kind of place, I thought it was over-priced. With two adults and one child, we spent almost $40 bucks!

Was impressed w/ the perks you get w/ your order which are those tiny side salads at the salad/condiment bar. They've got a good asian peanut salad and a pretty good carrot salad. The sandwiches are pretty decent and they come w/ a side salad. Don't forget dessert next door! The Napoleon was to die for!

a good place to grab a sandwich when you don't have much time. the menu is so-so though. there's a lot of pressed sandwiches that are sometimes overkill in terms of how much food is stuffed in there. let's out it this way, HALF a sandwich is enough to make you full. there are little side salads that are free for the taking, so that's a nice touch. coffee isn't bad here, but not amazing. the desserts are made on the premises and aren't bad, especially the apple turnovers.

I can't say enough about Roman's. I do a lot of business in the area and I have been there several times. From the Tri-Tip to the Fries, it is top notch. I have developed a craving for it now and always look forward to my next meal there. Enjoy!!
