Yosh For Hair

My wife goes there every two weeks and it is the highlight of her weekend. She really enjoys being pampered, especially on a budget! I've been in with her before and gotten some work done and the staff is fantastic. It's a nice little place with a very friendly environment. I know we will continue going there for years!

PROS: Good staff and pampering is fun
CONS: None that I can think of.

Although the services are not to the caliber that they were formerly, a helpful attitude and clean, modern facilities are found here. A bit pricey compared to other salons but that is probably due to the 'classy' atmosphere of Maiden Lane.

This place was previously fab but I think it has gone downhill. Now the atmosphere is very hectic and the people who work there are so snobby that it is bordering on rude. I'd especially comment that the skills level of the cutters and colorists are not worth the really super high prices this place is now charging. Bascially, they once had an AWESOME reputation in SF and they are still living off of that and charging these super high prices for that reputation but the place no longer deserves it. Overall, not worth the money and no longer a good experience.
