This is THE spot for Philadelphia sports games. They also have group outings to Sharks games on booze buses. Awesome. Also, the wings are legendary.

I frequent this place often. Its primarily a neighborhood bar but the food is excellent too, specially their sandwiches and burgers.

If you do check this place out, you wont be disappointed. One thing to keep in mind is that since this is mainly a bar they don't always have a server working so if you do come for food and the bartender is busy be prepared to order your food at the bar. Aside from the food, its a great place to hang out and catch a couple drinks too.

The clientele is a great mix of younger and older people. I've never had any problems with anyone at this place. Everyone is very respectful.

If you want to grab a drink and you are in the area stop by Kezar. This bar is located right by the park so stop by after spending the day in Golden Gate Park. If you are looking for a game stop by.

Great pub to watch all sports, I go to watch the football and it's great. Bar staff are cool, people who watch sports are generally nice people.
Need to get better tea bags though!! (Lipton just doesn't cut it!)

Pros: Number of plasma's

Cons: location

Kezar gets it done. There are about a billion flatscreens and they get sports feeds from all over the world. The food is kind of blah but it's just for soaking up booze anyway. I love how packs of USF girls always drop in--it really alleviates the over-testosteroned atmosphere. Love watching the warriors here.

Pros: Great sports crowd--no meatheads

Kezar's is my spot to go on Sundays to watch all of the football I desire. It is always packed on game days (whether you watch football, soccer, rugby or baseball). It is the best place to grab a drink or coffee at 6am during soccer season and the food is delicious!

Some co-workers, friends and family members got together at Kezar's Pub for a couple of farewell drinks before we all headed out of town. Had so much fun here, can't wait to go back next time I'm in town.

I live in the area and occasionally drop in here for brew and a game. The food is basic, but a bit above average for bar standards, at least from what I have experienced and not terribly priced. It can get crowded here, but the energy is usually good and the pool tables are a plus. And yes, this is not the one on Cole and Carl.

Kezar is a relaxed place to grab dinner and a beer for a reasonable price. They have a full page of specials to flesh out their comfort food-based regular menu (the seared ahi tuna was especially wonderful). The environment is unpretentious and the staff is incredibly friendly. A favorite place for any night of the week, they have the best chips and salsa in town (home made corn chips served hot)!

Fun spot, good food and drinks, nice crowds, lots of TVs, great spot to watch Gaellic football, rugby, real football and US football. The old Niner memorabilia is pretty cool, too.

My family loves coming to this restaurant, the food is amazing and yet the price is not too high! It is kid friendly and yet is great to go for a romantic date or to watch the game! Don't be fooled by the exterior, it has some of the best specials in the city!

I had stopped in here for the bar and enjoyed the beer selection. Eventually we decided to try the dinner menu, not expecting much. However, the food was superb. The say it is all made from scratch and I believe it. Obviously a lot of people in Cole Valley have figured out how good it is! Great job everyone at Kezar.

I've been to the Kezar several times now, and each visit was an absolute blast! The food is quite good (get the fish and chips!) and the service is great, also. There are times when it does get VERY crowded so the service can slow down a little, but that is entirely understandable when serving both food and MANY drinks to a very enthusiastic crowd. There is usually rugby if you get bored with American football like I do. :) I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back to SF so I can go back. Have fun.

I loved this place when i lived in the neighborhood and still look for excuses to go. the chef is great, except for the pasta dishes which he always puts just one too many things in (pine nuts and peas don't always have to be in a pasta dish). The atmosphere is great, very comfortable.

the waitstaff is consistently bland and unhelpful, and they always look the same from year to year. But whatever - go if you have a few hours to spend with some good friends.

Pros: Lamb burger, potato pancakes

The pub food is great. Hard to believe one is in a pub when the quality, hearty food comes out. People who walk into a pub looking for a+ service are missguided. The staff is as friendly as the bar atmosphere present at the moment. I wouldn't want to be in a pub that operated differently. Good mix of American and international sports....

Okay...so I know that is a bit much, but I have lived here in SF for only a few months and I do mean it when I say it is the best I've had. I suppose if you are the type of person who goes to the higher end restaurants in town, then you get great food there, but if that is you I am sure that you aren't reading this review. Anyway, the food was great (the bruschetta appetizer was the best ever and the pulled pork sandwich was great). And it was all for a really good price for this city. I'd go there once a week if I lived in the neighborhood. Great pub food.

I use to LOVE this place. In recent years the food quality seems to have diminished but it still remains a comfortable and convenient place to eat. I would not recommend going out of your way to eat here.

It's a great place to gather for sporting events because of its limited space, young crowd and low ceilings

I go here all the time. It's so easy and low key, but don't be fooled....they have great food. It's a step beyond your typically burger and beer, and will keep a little change in your pocket at the same time. Go there.

This has always been a good place to get pub food that's a little bit more up-market - but the lamb burger I had there recently was quite simply the BEST BURGER I've ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted, the lime-mint aioli was a fantastic addition to the perfectly cooked lamb, and grilled onions sealed the deal. As usual we had the cajun fries which were tremendous. Our waitress was bubbly and friendly, and it ended up being a reasonably cheap dinner.

I'm amazed that bartenders and waitresses have to be asked to seat you, pour you a drink, present you with a bill, take your money, give you change. This place has the worste staff I have ever run across in any bar or eating establishment. RUDE AND FULL OF ATTITUDE. Avoid it like the plague.
