World Famous

This place is great for a date, great views and a good menu not to mention the staff is really nice and attentive but not in an overbearing way. The problem with most date places however is that the prices are high, but that's to be expected. Parking can be an issue being so close to the beach but the proximity can be a real plus for after dinner walks.

I went to World Famous with my boyfriend one night and we both really enjoyed going there. We bot got the Burgers and fries and it was really good! The waitress we had was very friendly and was great about getting us refills on our drinks and asking if we needed anything. The burgers were a very reasonable price too. The view is gorgeous if you sit outside on the patio because it is right on the water and if you are there at the time where the sunsets its even prettier! Great place to eat with great food.

World Famous- and YUMM and WOW WHAT A VIEW! are all synonymous with this establishment. Sit and the bar and enjoy some fish taco's and a nice refreshing Ceaser from the bartender.

After years of enjoying World Famous, I have finally realized why I always look forward to their fantastic food and great service - just sit on the patio and enjoy the view! Whether its the passing crowd on the boardwalk - or another beautiful day on the Pacific Ocean, World Famous is ready to show it off!

World Famous, right on the shore of Pacific Beach, never fails to have a long line of hungry folks waiting their turn to eat. Original benedicts, including the South Beach Benedict, which is my personal favorite, and the best red potatoes a breakfast plate could hope for. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Once you go 'Famous', you'll crave it forever.

PROS: beautiful ocean front views
CONS: so many people love it so much, you're sure to find a bit of a wait.
