One of the well known local places to get your board and board supplies, usually have a sale going on and its location to the beach makes it real easy to stop in either coming or going from the waves.

This surf shop is one of the better local shops and has a large selection. The store is pretty big for a surf shop and has lots of boards and clothes and whatever else you want. It's close to the beach and has great prices. Definately check out this shop when you're in the area.

There are three location in the LA Metro area the one I suggest visiting is the one in Malibu and this one in Hermosa Beach. The store carries everything essential for a surfer and the boards made by Becker are reliable and have a solid reputation too.
