Sycamore Park Care Ctr Llc

Not a choice I would have made, but decent.. I understand that getting the best care for the elderly can be frustrating. Especially with so many places that have been accused with neglect and cruelty (it is a scary prospect.) But Sycamore seems to be worthy of trust. My best friend's grandmother has been in and out of Sycamore many times. Both the staff and nurses are friendly and seem to genuinely care about the patients. The facility itself is not top of the line. A bit old & run down perhaps (a remodeling would go a long way.) My one complaint is that I feel it is overcrowded. Not horribly so, but perhaps one more person per room than there should be. I could be wrong in my estimation but, I know that I would not want my grandmother packed in there like a sardine.. But it's not for me to say in this instance. However, I will say that when I visit with my friend (just to say hello, bring a meal, or on special occcasions - if she is there at the time) she seems very happy and well taken care of. I suppose that that's a good sign (and should count for something.)
