Union Square Plaza Hotel

Perfect for me! Everything I wanted to do and see was close by, with lots of restaurants and shops just 5 minutes walking distance. Chinatown, the Ferry building, Union Square...plus if you want to go farther, the trolley car stop is just two blocks up the street. VERY good room and location for the price. Very friendly staff, and they'll arrange an airport shuttle if you need it.

The Union Square Plaza is the the best budget hotel. Very friendly staff and there is free coffe every morning and there are hundreds of cafes and restaurants nearby! The hotel has amenities that you would nor expect from the price: Change of sheets and towels every day, big room with ensuite bathroom and cable TV.
Everything is nearby, Union Square with all the shops,Chinatown, Market Street and the Ferry Building with beautiful shops and for ferries to Sausalito. If you want to go further, buses,streetcars, subway and trains are maximum 5 minutes walk away!
Also, exactly opposite the hotel are two very good theatres and all other theatres and main cinemas are very close.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller of any age and pusprose travelling to San Francisco. I can not wait to visit it again myself!!

This place is a great place to stay. It sits just off of Union Square. It's super easy to access the public tranist in the city. You won't need a car. Leave the door turn right and Geary leads you to the ocean turn left for the city. It's also very close to some great high end shopping. Right around the corner from the St. Francis. And if you like to walk you can get anywhere in the city super easy from the location.
