They have an amazing crust on their pizza. Check their menu online as toppings vary daily. Also, if they ever have a sweet foccacia - one with berries or peaches - snatch it up. They are amazing!

Make bread, not war

All breads are made fresh by the hands of Italian grandmothers in the kitchen. May not be true, but sure tastes like it. Great place to grab a snack and catch up with some dear friends over a cup of coffee. Try the pecan roll, if you like being blown away by taste.

The BEST bakery you'll ever visit, real stuff, worker co-op!

This is the BEST bakery you'll ever visit! If you're having guests or just want somewhere cool to go, this is worth traveling to. It's a cute little workers co-op in the Inner Sunset. They have a bunch of very fresh bakery items, "Hot Baggettes!", the absolute most tastiest pizza ever, cookie brittle to die for, and great coffee. They also offer discounts for bicyclists and muni riders, and other discounts! This place is a must visit, but watch out - it is completely addictive.
Street parking is hard - try parking in the lot across the street - enter on 8th Avenue, in between Irving and Judah. Or try one block up at Judah - street parking is a little easier to find there. Bring quarters.
PROS: Tastiest ever, workers co-op, huge selection, very fresh
CONS: None; you really can't go wrong here.
