This is one of the 3 stores that Pho 999 has. The Van Nuys one is just as great as the one. The service is quick, the workers are friendly, and the restaurant itself is pretty well sized.

Pretty good pricing for the food as well- $5-$7 for not only pho, but also their rice dishes, dry noodle dishes, and their stews and soups.

If every you're in the area, try Pho 999. Keep your eyes peeled for this restaurant b/c it's easy to miss, but no worries, if you can't park on the street, there's parking behind the restaurant!

I wanted to take my bf to the Pho 999 location on Sepulveda because I go there all the time, but the line was too long. Instead, I took him to the other location on Sherman Way. The menu is the same, except they don't have boba drinks, and I really wanted an avocado boba. I ordered the special combo pho, with all the different cuts of beef and my bf ordered the grilled shrimp over rice. His order caught the waiter off guard, b/c he sounded as if he had never heard of it, so my bf referred to it by the menu number. When his plate came, he got pork instead of shrimp. We asked the waiter about the mixup and he said that his order doesn't come with shrimp, then offered to add shrimp to the order. Even though my bf doesn't eat pork, he kept the order that came out. Right after our mixup, the table next to us had a mixup with their order with the same waiter. They, too, decided to keep what they got instead of sending it back. When I went up to pay, the hostess didn't even tell me my total and just stuck her hand out waiting for payment. I'm never going back to this location. I'll stick to the one on Sepulveda.

Pros: Good pho, familiar menu

Cons: Bad service
