They act like they would all rather be some place else. Disappear into office as soon as they can.

Great cooking school for both the beginning and advanced chef. It offers a variety of cooking for various types of foods as well as knife cutting techniques too. You will leave feeling like you can cook up a feast in the kitchen

I wanted to "sharpen" my knife cutting skills ;) so I decided to take a class at the New School of Cooking. I am a hands on person so I was able to learn a great deal from the class. The chefs were very helpful and we got to eat what we made at the end! It was a little on the expensive side, but I definitely improved after this class. They have a variety of classes worth checking out.

If you want to take cooking lessons and are intimated by those fancy kitchen or large size cooking schools, then this one definitely is for you. It's comfortable style and clean.

I enjoyed the recreational class I went to. I found the almost all of other people to be very warm and friendly. The class begins with an overview, then divides us into pairs where we make one of the dishes. We capped off the class by eating our creations. Very fun experience, though I was expecting more teaching and guidance while we cooked. Also, I wished that the teachers encouraged interactions among the students. For instance, when I walked in, they should've said hello, or when we ate, it would've been nice if the teachers ate with us and facilitated conversation among the group, maybe even toast our work. But they just sat in the corner and left us alone. Which is a pity because as I mentioned, everyone was really nice and looked like we would've had some good conversations. Other than that, it's a good experience.

Pros: nice people, nice venue

Cons: teachers aloof
