The absolute worse job agency out there....

I reached out to Apple-one a couple of months back in the hopes that they can help me find a job opportunity, I met with Morez Guitterez (branch manager) directly. According to him, my resume/interview blew him away and he was interested in bringing me on board with his team as a recruiter. I was very much excited and completed my application/paperwork immediately. He promised me a call back the next day, but I didn't hear from him for 3 days so I decided to call him myself. After leaving him a couple of messages, I emailed him letting him know that my sole purpose for reaching out to appleone was so that they can help me find a job and that even if he did not want me working for him, I would appreciate a phone call/email back stating that they will continue to help me. The next day I get a call from the Morez saying that he was really busy... yeah right... and that he didn't realize that his branch was full and was not in need for any employees..."ummm hello, aren't you the branch manager? and shouldn't you know all of this before offering a job to someone???? then he had the nerve to say since I am a excellent candidate and motivated my skills would be a better match for the Oakland office (since they were hiring) and that the area manager would call me the next day and call me in for a interview..... guess what??? I never got a call back from anyone of them, not only for a recruiter position within the company but also no call backs for the sole purpose of my visit to appleone. I can not believe the level of professionalism these people have. Seriously, for all you that are in need for job, don't waste your time with them. They are a bunch of scammers and have no intentions to help anyone!

They seemed wonderful, really got me out to a job. I was at the job for eight days and the job let me go. I called my worker at AppleOne, she gave me absolutely no support. The job I received told her a different story about letting me go than they told me. I had no idea what I did wrong. My worker gave me no support, told me she wasn't there so she didn't know what happened. I asked would this affect future jobs for me with AppleOne and her response was "when I signed up with AppleOne there were no promises." I haven't heard from them since that day. I would not recommend them to anyone.

AppleOne is the worst recruiting firm I have ever worked with in my (14) years of administrative experience.

They will lie and say anything to get you to come in for an interview.

The website "application" is nothing more than 75% marketing - using you previous company names in their resume of "pooled candidates" to their clients who are paying them (HIRING COMPANIES, NOT YOU). You list all of your references and they become targeted potential clients for them to solicit their services.

CHECK OUT: Indeed.com - Put in the search "AppleOne" and there are currently (156) NEGATIVE comments from people who have had bad experiences.

STAY AWAY!!

I've read the reviews from other people and their experiences with Appleone in San Francisco and I have to say I had the best experience with Appleone. I have gone to different temporary agencies and this one by far helped me out tremendously. Everyone was courteous and my Account Executive took the time to really understand what type of position I was looking for and matched me with a direct hire position that gives full benefits and pays 10% higher than what I was making in my previous position.

So, as a happy Appleone candidate for those who have had bad experiences, I have to defend Appleone.....maybe it's not the temp agency maybe it's you. If a temp agency can't place you then maybe there are factors such you asked too high of a pay for not enough skills, maybe you didn't interview well or your test scores weren't high enough...etc If you're ranting on about how a temp agency couldn't help you, maybe there is a good reason like I don't know........YOU? Stop blaming temp agencies. It's not their fault you can't find a job.

I don't know about you but, with the amount of people that walk into the office, they are extremely efficient and courteous. They even allow to conduct the testing conveniently at home. They do strive to find employment as they have contacted me with a number of opportunities. I have to say that some people in the room who were going through interviews did not seem to me what I would call "employable."

I wouldn't recommend this agency because this agency was hired by the Federal Reserve Bank of S.F. to pay all the temps until the check processing dept. closes. However, my position ended before the dept. closed and that my account executive told me that it was my fault that the client let me go before the dept. closes. She said that I talk too much.Wrong!!! She also mentioned that the OfficeTeam director had to call her to verify my employment with the Federal Reserve bank from her before I get any more assignments from OfficeTeam and that she was my supervisor. If she was my supervisor, why am I no longer working there? She also told me not to contact anyone from the Federal Reserve Bank. Why? How did she know I didn't make any friends there?

I belonged to this temporary Employment agency not long ago. They are very good at getting their clients temporary help. I always had an assignment for me whenever I was available. The office is located inside the Wells Fargo building and they occupy a large office. They also have computer training for those who may need a little brush up.

If you are looking for an employment agency, don't bother with this one because this agency fired me. I know that an agency can't fire you when you are seeking employment, but this one did. The Federal Reserve Bank hired this agency to pay all the temps until the check processing department closes. And the staffing person that interviewed me told me that they did not have admin positions that paid over $14 an hour. I know that they were low-balling me there. Anyways, don't waste your time, unless this is the only temp agency you havent got to yet.
