Mc Cormick & Schmick's

I don't go to the happy hours, just for dinner. A nice setting, just shy of elegant (which means it's still comfortable) and good service. I doubt many talk about the great food there though, just the nice interior design. While the food is okay, it is not what it should be from a restaurant of this caliber. It is uninspired, like something I'd expect from the C. Factory, so it is not really worth it for me. They need to review their menu, perhaps create a few house specialties, take a poll, something like that, some sort of culinary self-review.
Then they could have a first-rate seafood restaurant. This will have happened when reviewers talk more about their dishes than the atmosphere.

PROS: Nice atmosphere, nice complex.
CONS: Cuisine should be superior, but it is only satisfactory to good.

The secret to McCormick & Schmicks is the happy hour menu - you can get a burger and fries for $2 if you order a drink. There are other good deals but the burger is probably the best deal. Not too many veggie options but they do have potato tacos.

You should never have said something bad about Pabsts. That was a big mistake. Pabst!!! Its the best thing about the world today. Drink it!!! If you dont there is something wrong with your beer standards. Drink this beer!!! Pabst!!!

One of the best Happy Hours in town! With a two drink minimum, you can get anything from a burger to fish tacos for only $1.99! They offer two happy hours a day Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm-6:30 pm and 9:30 pm-11pm. The food is excellent. The lunch specials are delicious, the fish is tasty, and their salads are wonderfully filling.

Apparently Mc Cormick & Schmick's is a fairly expensive restaurant specializing in seafood, most of the time. My experience has been going there for happy hour. They have a great happy hour (I think it actually lasts for several hours) where you can get a beer for a couple bucks and a good burger or another food item for another couple bucks. A great place to go with friends. Some people complain about the happy hour tap beer (it's Pabst, which I like but is pretty watery and not a highly-regarded beer)

The food's not too bad, but hanging out there is great!
