This was the most amazing place in Japantown. I had the turkey crepe from the savory menu nearly every day during my seven day stay. Sushi in Japan Center is fine, but the buttery sweet smell of Sophie's Crepes beckoned me relentlessly. Oh how wonderful the crepes were. The service was phenomenal. The price was very affordable. My tip for you: Leave SFO and head straight to Sophie's.

This place has the best crepes I've ever tasted. Whenever we have a family dinner in Japantown, we always stop for Sophie's crepes for dessert. No matter how full we are, we just have to have one. Everyone in my extended family, age ranging from 8-60, we all love Sophie's crepes!

Great Crepes. Compared to the crepes I've tried in San Francisco so far, Sophie's Crepes is the best so far. Located in Japantown, Sophie's has a friendly atmosphere that provides delicious crepes at "decent" prices (or at least the last time I checked). Great fruit crepes with nutella. Yummie.
Downside, it can be crowded - depending on time of day.

This quaint little spot is found in the midst of an indoor plaza in Japantown. Several years back, I did an Ethnographic Research paper for my Master's degree. I was required to observe in this plaza for a certain amount of hours per week. Iwill definitely say that during this time I learned much about the subculture in Japantown and in the meantime fell in love with these delicious crepes. The green tea ice cream is also a nice choice on the menu. Enjoying the surroundings is part of the fun.
