My hairdresser recommended Arcadia Ultimate to me for my old 84 Honda Accord. The first time I went in, I knew that I needed an alternator (and had already received estimates from two other shops), and the price was best at Arcadia Ultimate. When I dropped off the car, they told me they would check out the car and give me a call. I thought... here we go... I know they are going to 'find' lots of things wrong with this car, and this is going to be expensive. Imagine my surprise when they called the next morning and told me that the alternator wasn't my problem, and that I only needed a new pair of battery cables. Saved me over $500.

I no longer own that car, but two of my children own Hondas and one of them drives from Orange County to get her car serviced. The mechanics at Ultimate are the best... they've been taking care of our cars for over 10 years now.

We learned about Arcadia Ultimate Automotive through word of mouth., and have been bringing our Honda Pilot to them for several years. They take care of all of our scheduled maintenance, and if there is no problem, we only pay for the maintenance service (We've never had a maintenance service at the dealership cost less than $800 - there are always a few things that they say must be done). Arcadia Ultimate's prices are very reasonable, as well. We brought our Pilot in once to have them repair the air conditioning, but found out that the repair was covered through our warranty, so we had the work done through the warranty instead. The price quote for the AC work at Arcadia Ultimate was $150, the dealership would have charged $265 for the same job!!! We will continue to drive the 25 miles for as long as we have a Honda!!!

Honest mechanics. I have been taking my Honda there for 10 years. They are just the best Honda shop around. Owners and staff are so friendly and are willing to explain things so they are understood. I wish I could take all my cars to them. I highly recommend!s

I started using Arcadia Ultimate about 6 years ago when I met someone from Nevada at the gas station in Monrovia who was bragging about how great his Honda is. He said he had driven all the way from Nevada and the oil had barely moved. I started to talk to him and he told me that Arcadia Ultimate Honda was the only one he would trust with his car and he drives in from Nevada to get it serviced. He said when he retired he would have bought a BMW but because Arcadia Honda did not service BMWs he got another Honda. Since then I've been going to Arcadia Ultimate Honda and I've referred my friend and we are all totally satisfied. I travel from Yorba Linda to get my car serviced at Arcadia Ultimate Honda. These guys are honest and trustworthy. They will not do unnecessary work and they are very thorough.

I have been bringing my 2001 Honda Accord to them for about 5 years? I found out about them thru word of mouth and they were up the street from my old place. I now live in Ontario and still drive my car there v. going to a Honda dealer. I know they will give me honest info and realistic pricing. They are fair and well-priced. Depending on the service, you may have to leave your car overnight, but if you need it fixed, what choice do you have?

As most of us have experienced, finding a good and honest mechanic is very difficult. However, Arcadia Ultimate Automotive mechanics are those rare folks who are very good at what they do and charge a very reasonable price on top of that. I've been taking my car to them for over 5 years and their commitment to excellent service has never faltered.

I'd read reviews from random sites and decided to go with the popularly rated Ultimate Honda & Acura. To kill time (and fill my empty stomach) while they diagnosed my rather loud brake problem, I took about a 1/3 mile walk to get a hamburger and left them my cell phone number. About 20 minutes later, one of the guys came down (he knew where I'd be) to let me know what my car needed. My stupid cell wasn't working. How nice was that?!

All the employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain what was happening and answering all my questions.

When I was about to back up to leave, someone noticed one of my brake lights out, so they replaced it right then and there for nothing. Talk about going the extra mile!

It's the little things like all I mentioned above that create repeat customers and encourage them to spread the word, which is what I'm doing. I only have this one experience with Ultimate Honda & Acura, but I'll definitely be back.

We have been bringing our Hondas to these guys for over 15 years. They are great, always honest and never pressure us to do work that isn't needed. They keep excellent records of everything they do to each car so there is no duplicate work done. One of our cars has over 260,000 miles on it and is still running strong! We have recommended several people to them over the years and they are never disappointed with the service.

When Pasadena Acura moved to Glendale, I was referred to these guys by several people. I am very impressed with how helpful and professional they are. Every time I've taken my 2005 TL in for service, they've explained very detail of the work that is or was being done. How much better can it get to find an honest mechanic?

Ken and Jeff, who originally started Arcadia Ultimate, are former Honda dealership mechanics who are eminently qualified and who always use genuine Honda/Acura parts in their service and repair work. They successfully maintained our many Hondas and one Acura for years. Once Jeff even fixed a peculiar clicking noise in the door panel of the neighbor's Acura that we bought, finding a loose screw by removing panels. They went out of their way to give prompt and friendly service, and our cars worked reliably for hundreds of thousands of miles. They even have a client who drives from Nevada just to get his Honda serviced there.

PROS: prompt, excellent repair and maintenance; cheerful; send reminder notices
CONS: not always able to drive you home while your car is worked on
