I wish i could give zero stars! but i guess one will suffice but only for the music...
I went to have a laid back drink with my friend after work. We met there since it's a halfway pt for us.
I brought her The Twillight books to borrow

I've been going to this bar for years with my boyfriend and friends. However, last time I was there with a group of friends the bartender was so rude and unprofessional that we had to leave the place because we felt like we couldn't stay there any longer. We got there early, and order drinks, by the time my boyfriend got his change back and started counting to leave her a tip, she said out loud, " You know I don't work for free!" We were stunned by her words and she replied to us saying She doesn't make drinks for free. we told her how unprofessional she was and she didn't give a damn. We told her we didn't want the drinks anymore and she only gave us half of the money. (I understand people have shity days but she didn't have to take it on us.) We asked to talk to the person in charge but no one was there to talk to. It was really lame, I never want to go back there again. How can a bar have employees like her serving the crowd?! So much lack of customer service.

Pros: The bar is a cool, layback place.

Cons: The service and unprofessionalism.

Well I have been to NoBar only a couple of times and each time is less exciting than the next. I consider myself and my friends to be funa dn crazy people and this place is not right for you if you want that. The drink prices are average bar prices, $4/5 beers, $10 cocktails. The bar service is usually attentive and pour good strong drinks. The jukebox has a good variety of music to choose from, but the crowd is usually uneventful. The parking outside is minimal but the street parking is sometimes available, if it isn't I just leave, its not worth it. The lighting is dark and intimate and there is a a pool table in the back, $1 a game. Try it out for yourself, it ain't too bad, but ain't great either.

Best place to go in the valley. Hands down. Great staff. I miss the bald white guy who used to work the door there. Always so friendly and funny. The current staff is still a lot of fun though. One of the best jukeboxes in town.

NOBAR is a cool little spot. Nested in North Hollywood but could just as well fit in if it were in Hollywood. The drinks are pretty good, great interior (dim lighting), pool table. Quite swanky. They have really cool wallpaper. Nice chill little neighborhood bar. Offset room an pool table area would be PERFECT for a party!

Seriously folks, if you're looking for a chill/loungey kind of bar, this is the spot. It has a pool table, three sections (rooms) that have comfortable seating, and a great juke box that is updated regularly. The bartenders pour with a heavy hand so you never feel cheated on a weak drink and they remember you from one visit to the next. They even have hooks on the underside of the bar to hang your purse on; great to not have to put stuff down on a wet bar.

Great place to make your regular bar. And once you're trashed, they'll call the cab for you!

Cheers!!!

This is just a fun nostalgic bar that you can take good friends to and kick back with some good music and a drink in your hand. I loved it becuase the atmosphere and people are very inviting but it doesn't sacrifice style for those qualities. The pool table is great for competitive fun with friends and the overall vibe is young & cool. The staff was very nice and it was the kind of place that you just feel like you know everyone and have been coming there for years as soon as you walk in the door.

some people say the valley has no class; i say take them to No Bar and prove them wrong. this place has the feel of a pseudo-hipster bar in silver lake, or a stylish bar in hollywood. The parking is easy, the mood is relaxed but not like you'd fall asleep, and the bar itself is filled with fun people. There is a juke-box with some sweet choices, a pool table, and candle-light. i have been there on a tuesday night and a saturday night, and i say that both left me drunk and happy.

Listen, if you live anywhere near burbank and haven't stopped by NoBar for a drink, you've been living under a rock. Seriously, this is one of the best bars in town.

Great to meet and great new people with bartenders who are friendly and actually listen to you. Great atmosphere and jukebox. It's a real people friendly bar with many locals and for the prices you can't beat them in the valley. It makes you feel like you're at home and the drinks are the best... These bartenders really know how to make great drinks at low prices! It's defiantly a must goto place here in Burbank.

The atmosphere is Hollywood without the attitude. Drinks are tasty, theres a good jukebox selection and the prices aren't crazy.

Great place to get drunk.

I like this place, its relaxed and has a good vibe to it.I would recommend it, especially if you want a hip scene without the total L.A. craziness. Good drinks, good prices, good service.

If you're not careful, you'll miss it. The place is on a main street but in a residential area so it's kind of easy to miss. Then there is the parking - just street and not a lot of it. Finally, once you get inside, the place is dark as a dungeon. There's a pool table but it is always crowded. The jukebox is OK. The bartenders are polite and the drinks are par for the course (both price-wise and potency). As for the crowd - I'm not with it. I didn't see a lot of mingling and not very crowded. It's an OK place but not my best choice.

No Bar is overall a great place for people watching and has a kicked back atmosphere. The jukebox has an above average selection including bands such as the Clash, Pixies, Rancid, Op Ivy, the Pogues and Social d. The crowd is a bit sketchy, consisting of many "wrong side of the tracks" types, but most are harmless. Many seem to have left leave their manners behind. The people that work there are the highlight of the crowd and the drink prices are quite reasonable.

Don't expect to run into the fast and cool Hollywood wannabes you might find in the meat markets down on Ventura. NoBar is a comfortable and unpretentious midscale neighborhood bar, definitely not a "scene." The atmosphere is dark and warmly-lit, with "ironic" velvet wallpaper and vinyl seating. Drink prices are reasonable; the bartenders are friendly, attractive and take time to chill martini glasses. There's plenty of seating and a pool table in the back. Get there early and stake out a spot. It starts to fill up after 11 or so. The fairly friendly crowd is an unpredictable mix of locals, college students and a few hipsters. The jukebox is rather eclectic, so you'd best plunk your $3 worth in before someone does an all-Led Zep set. There's a loosely enforced dress code -- no cutoffs, shorts or tank tops -- that seems to apply mostly to men.

This place is pretty cool. Went on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty then around midnight it started to get a nice little crowd going. The best part is the pole by the bar. Be sure to watch the girls change from all nice to sweet then to all CRAZY!! When they hear the mainstream rap like 50 Cent or some Dr. Dre. Overall its a cool place and some good looking girls. Good luck with the new bar.

What can you say about NoBAR? Well, most of that it is where Paul, the bartender formerly known as Daddys manager, has gone. Now I still love Daddys but it isn't quite the same without Paul. Like when they tried to replace Bo and Luke on "The Dukes of Hazzard" with Coy and Vance. It was still craziness in a orange, jumping car but...what am I saying? Anyway, NoBAR has Paul and Paul brought his considerable charm and personality to NoBAR so you should go and check it out.
