Dianda's Italian American Co

Dianda's bakery makes the best Napoleon, not too sweet, light, and fluffy. They also have delicious Italian cookies, pastries, and cakes It is a traditional Italian bakery. I also love their cannoli's.
I did buy a strawberry cake from them for my daughter's birthday and I was surprised at how dry it was. I called the bakery to let them know and they gave me a replacement. Staff are very friendly.

When I moved out of the city to the 'burb's, I was sad to leave Diandas on Mission Street. For years, everyday on my way home I stopped for a treat. Much to my surprise they have a store in San Mateo. Their pastries, cakes and coffee are a treat. I got my wedding cake at Diandas and it was EXCELLENT, everyone loved it. And the prices are great to boot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This bakery has the most delicious cakes and pastries. Their "thousand layer cake" is to die for. I can't remember the italian name for it but if you ask for their thousand layer cake they will know exactly what you're talking about. Prices are very reasonable too.

Dianda's Bakery is a family owned bakery. I highly recommend the Italian Almond Torte. The service is top notch and so are the desserts. They are located in the Crystal Springs Shopping Center in San Mateo.
