It looks like Ice Palace has now re-opened under the ownership of The Rinks (Anaheim Ducks affiliation). I'm going to check it out for the next season of hockey! I think the new website is WestminsterIceRink.com

Well, I just searched up Westminster Ice Palace on Google maps, but the address led me to a place called Berkley's Backyard Barbecue. On the other hand, the map was created in 2009, and now it's 2010.
My teacher told me the Ice Palace opened up just this month so I'm not sure whether or not to drive all the way there just to see if it's open or not, since I live about 15 minutes away.
But if it's open, I'd like to go there for my birthday party. It seems like a nice place.

This rink is now closed. As of October 2008 it is no longer an ice rink. The leagues have moved over to Glacial Gardens in Lakewood. The building is supposedly changing back to a grocery store.

Westminster Ice Palace is a great place to hang out with your friends or family. The prices are decent compared to other sites however it could get a bit crowded. Its safe and gives a nice environmental feeling . The employees will allow organizations to have fund raisers and will take only a portion the profit.

The Ice Palace is a rink tucked in a lot looking lost somewhere between the freeways. Nonetheless, it can be quite patroned at times, while empty at others. Being a rather small rink, it would be prudent to schedule accordingly.

The staff is pleasant and helpful, though apathetic. At $8, it is a reasonable deal for a chilly break in Southern California.

There are not many outstanding qualities, but neither is there much to detract from it. I cannot comment on the skating lessons for hockey offered there. For pure recreational skating, Ice Palace serves well.

One note however: I would not eat at the little restaurant there as the food is substantially subpar. The pretzel has the texture of cardboard without the taste.

Ice Palace is a small ice skating ring. They offer from private and public skate time. For $7 dollars, you can skate until your tire. They open at a certain time to the public so check out their schedule before you leave the house. Their have a huge parking lots and there are plenty of restaurant around to pick from if your hungry.

To me, Westminster Ice Palace would be an okay place to go for ice skate. Their rate are average; around $8 per person. The whole place is very dead; barely anyone goes there beside the local hockey team and a few ice skaters. I would recommend Westminster Ice Palace for people who want to skate alone.

This is a pretty good ice rink for hockey. If you call ahead, you can get a schedule for stick time. They usually offer it for an hour on Saturdays. Nice, abundant parking as well. Very close to the freeway, which is convenient.
