The Quiet Woman is a fun place to go to for drinks and live music. I went last week with my girlfriends and we had so much fun. They have great dirty martini's and the music is fun. My girlfriends and I dance the night away. We will be back for more...

I LOVE The Quiet Woman. The food is amazing!!! My son loves the golf ball steak. I love the seafood. The have a great happy hour too!. My Favorite thing about Quiet woman is they have something for everyone. I have had a nice dinner, Lunch, and meal with the family(my kids are 4 and 8) and the nightlife Thursday Friday Saturday is great. Live music on weekends and a great way to unwind after a long week of work. Quiet Woman is One of my favorite places in Corona Del Mar.

I really like this place. The food is great, there is a nice selection of wine to choose from, it is not too big, and not too loud, like some popular bars. (except maybe when there's live music...but that's understandable) Take note of the statue outside of the woman...and then you'll know why it's called the quiet woman.

This place is very over-rated. The food is only so-so and the prices are outrageous. $24 for a chicken pasta dish that tasted like it came from a can and a $36 steak that was mostly bone and fat (a very poor cut). We were not impressed. If you want a refill on your soda, it's like pulling teeth and you'll pay $2 for a refill... who does that? The service was polite, but slow and lacking in attention. The atmosphere is mellow and the only positve of our visit. This place has potential, but is overpriced and the food and service need a huge improvement to live up to the hype and cost. Maybe that's just how the Newport crowd likes it, but that's not for us. Quiet Women will remain a quiet secret and not recommended.

Pros: atmosphere
Cons: price, poor food, and slow service
I was here over a year ago and they had a great piano bar and a lively atmomsphere. The servers, hosts and all employees were attentive and courteous.
5This is a nice restaurant, but not really "quiet" as the name might indicate. The atmosphere appears cozy, but the restaurant is small, so it tends to be a bit loud. The food was very good, a little pricey, but worth it. Parking can be a slight challenge if you go at a peak time.

My husband and I decided to go to Quit Woman to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. We were so excited to dine at a place with live music! We were particulary lookinging forward to a good meal because we were celebrating our anniversary and the upcoming birth of our first baby. We ordered crab cakes to start. I ordered the lamb which came with french onion soup and my husband ordered the chicken pasta and french onion soup as well. The crab cakes were terrible...they were soft and the lacking flavor. The soup tasted like canned onion soup with a pile of cheese in the middle. My husband thought it was okay but I couldnt eat more than 2 bites. The lamb was HORRIBLE! It tasted old and the flavor was quite terrible. We had to move it away from us because the smell was bothering us. The pasta was a 2 out of 10. It tasted like something that would be served on a plane. Actually, I've had better plane food. The whole meal was a huge waste of money...the place is pretty overpriced.
We were surprised to read the caption on the menu that stated "in business for 42 years"!!
Thank god the music was nice! We were happy to have enjoyed that. The service was pretty good but we will never go back for food.

Pros: nice music and service
Cons: terrible overpriced food
The New York peppercorn steak is tender and flavorful; the pork chops and fresh fish delicious. Entrees are served with soup or salad- the salad is delivered along with a lazy susan of condiments- bacon, mushrooms, sprouts, kidney beans, croutons. The small, quaint, coastal restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Arrive early or plan to wait for a table. Reservations are only accepted for parties of 6 or more. Request the dining room, which is adjacent to the bar. The bar gets busy, crowded, and loud.

Pros: NY Peppercorn Steak, Great Service, good wine by the glas
Cons: parking, gets loud late
I've been dining at the QW for 25 years and can always count on a great meal for a good price. From Tommy behind the bar to Terri serving drinks, you can still count on someone remembering your name. It gets busy on Thurs, Friday and Saturdays like most places on the coast but is worth the wait. They take reservations for parties and over.

This is such a nice restaurant! It's got a romantic, plush/comfortable, and really hip vibe. It's perfect for a few appetizers and drinks at the bar, or a nice dinner at one of their oversize booths! The food is awesome, and I highly reccommend the moulten chocolate cake dessert which is one of the best I've tasted. It's in a quaint little neighborhood in Corona Del Mar, so a romantic little walk to the beach is perfect after a nice evening out!
