I enjoy coming to this nursery when I need plants or vegetables that my family and I like to grow. We grow tomatoes and cucumbers and they have a great selection. Prices are good but service could be better. When I need help or want to ask a question I feel like I can't find anyone. When I do find someone, they seem to want to hurry up and answer your question and take off.
This place has all the things you need to make an awesome garden. They have way more selections than Home Depot and other hardware stores. Plus their knowledgeable staff are very helpful in catering to your needs, whether you might have an insect problem or want a certain types of chiles, they know their stuff!
This is a great nursery, super knowledgable and helpful staff...excellent selection of plants, especially vegetables in pony packs, fruit trees/vines and bareroot roses. I have been shopping here for years and my garden is highly complimented. They even have supplies, so it is one stop shopping. I highly recommend this business.
I read another review from a Hollywood resident who goes there and I agree. We drive from laurel canyon takes 30 min max on weekends and its a great place. excellent selection and good prices and nice people. here on the LA side not much going on - a few small nurseries but you don't have same breadth and depth. actually going there this afternoon for repeat visit!
I live in Hollywood and I would drive up there twice a month to buy plants there (once a week in Spring and Fall). The best selection and best price around. I've been to most nurseries in the 50 miles radius. This is the place for one-stop-shopping. It's worth the drive!
Pros: Selection and prices
Cons: Close at 6 pm
Until I was grown up, I never knew there with other plant nurseries; we went here for EVERYTHING. Even though I live in the SCV and shop at Green Thumb out there, I still stop by Green Arrow. This location has a huge selection of plants and pots and everything else you need for the perfect garden. Service is great; everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable and you can get things here that you know are suited for our climate.
Pros: Great Selection, Good Service, Lots of Ideas
Cons: Avoid Peak Times
