I got into yoga several years ago, after being so stressed out that it was not even funny. This place was one of the first ones I checked out and continued going to, because of it's convenient location, close to where I work.

Ratings_icons a horrible place...

rainf0r3st

Satori is a horrible place for you if you hate yourself and want to live an unhealthy life.

If you dont like yoga, and never want to go to a peaceful and beautiful yoga studio where attention has been paid to every little detail to create harmony, space and balance

Only then, do your self a favor and don't go to Satori.

Ratings_icons Welcoming to people of all walks of life

I myself am not in the best of shape. So, I had some issues with approaching a "Yoga Studio."

Number one, not being lean and having the "yoga type body," I was concerned with being accepted without bias.

However, I attend Tony Eason's Iyengar Basics class and I was welcomed. He was concerned with my comfort zone, my limitations (due to past injuries), and encouraged me to ask questions. Also, his attention to my alignment was "impressive."

If you want to go to a clean studio with caring individuals and have a laugh at the same time .....visit Satori Yoga.

They are definitely unlike the most,
thanks Satori

Pros: precise alignment, knowledgable, human

Ratings_icons Satori is quite a find!

amypbolivia

Satori is like an oasis in the middle of the financial district. I am able to go directly from work and let the stress of the day melt away. They also happen to have the best unlimited monthly rates around! I have always felt welcomed and a sense of community at Satori. The instructors give individual attention and the classes are not over-crowded. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Pros: Close to work, reasonably priced, welcoming

Ratings_icons Best Break in the Financial District

Sartori is the best way to end a work day -- the studio is calm and relaxing; the instructors are knowledgeable and patient -- and they obviously love their practice. The owners really care about their clients and are open to feedback. Yoga and Sartori are now part of my life -- forever I hope!

Pros: Close to workplace, close to bart, muni

Ratings_icons I love Satori!!!!

amyodonnell

Satori is the best yoga studio I have ever been to. I have only begun doing yoga regularly this past summer and I can finally stick with it because I feel so welcomed and attended to at Satori. The classes are not overwhelming and the instructors are patient and give you individual attention. There are a variety of classes, and Satori is convenient to go to straight from work. Molly's Hatha classes are my favorite, she also offers massages! You will fall in love and become addicted to Satori.

Pros: good location, individual attention, beautiful

I had never tried yoga before I attended Satori and now I'm hooked. The instructors, particularly Molly, are welcoming, patient, and eager to assist. The space is so welcoming you'll hate to leave. Self-conscious beginners - this is the place to start and grow.

Ratings_icons Serene spot in the heart of downtown SF

kimq30

Satori is a serene, beautiful studio to practice yoga in right in the heart of the city. Convenient for lunchtime classes and right after work, class times are perfect, class variety keeps it interesting and the caliber of teachers is better than any gym or fitness club is offering in financial district. It's a pleasure and a joy to practice yoga at this studio. The financial district and the city of San Francisco are blessed with this new space.

Pros: Location, Class Times, Great Instructors

Ratings_icons great lunch alternative

adrianasouza

wonderful atmosphere and great service...the instructors are fabulous and Satori has really created a community of downtown folks who want to get a good workout in during the day. I can walk to the studio during my lunchbreak and then I grab a soup and salad and the sandwich place across the street. Thumbs up!

Pros: small classes, great class times, knowledgable instruct

Ratings_icons Soothing Space

showtime180

When I walked into the second story space, I immediately felt a sense of relaxation. It's a great layout, and nice, friendly staff. The instructors are always willing to help you adjust a move to fit your level of expertise. I always enjoy going to Satori, it's such a convenient location, and they have a variety of class times. I always leave feeling relaxed and invigorated, I highly recommend visiting. (Especially the Pilates taught by Rhea!)

Pros: Environment, Staff, Classes
