European Cake Gallery

We've had several cakes from this Point Loma specialty bakery. This is where we get all our cakes for special occasions. The cakes are beautiful with chocolate shavings. The Happy Birthday messages are iced onto bars of chocolate for easy reading and easy snacking.

European Cake Gallery is Cake Heaven. I've been getting special occasion cakes there for 20 years and there truly is no better place. A family business, the cakes are handmade and decorated with love, You can watch the process happening right before your eyes! The carrot cake is a meal in itself. I purchased a 4-tier wedding cake with different cake flavors and white chocolate curls adorning all the layers. It was the most beautiful AND delicious wedding cake on the planet. The chocolate torte cake is like solid fudge and will satisfy even the most stingent sweet tooth. Go. Taste. Spend some time in Cake Heaven.

This bakery has the best cakes you will ever find. You can't go wrong with their basic black forrest cake, which they now make into cupcakes. The strawberry and banana fillings are fresh. They are not decorated fancy, just with the shavings of chocolate, but who cares when they are this good!
