Red & White Market

This friendly store is not going to be your major grocery shopping stop, but is very convent for those last minute or "I just need a couple of things" items.
Great butcher shop in the back will cut anything you want, any way you want.......and cook it for you too! .......it has become my first stop for meats.
Deli also located here Good Sandwiches with "Subway prices" but with Deli quality.
Good Beer selection, stocking some interesting micro brewery beers along with the major brands.
Produce can be a little disappointing sometimes, but always have Great Avo's ready to use now if needed

I had thought this was just a liquor store, but it is actually a full market (with liquor) with a butcher counter and produce section. It is slightly more expensive for some items, but it is nice to be able to grab what you want and get through the line quickly and not have to visit a busy grocery store. The produce seems to be limited to items that are a little less perishable, like onions, potatoes, and maybe some broccoli or a tomato, but sometimes there are mangoes or other surprises. Great ice cream selection! I believe they have two locations in Oceanside - this review is for the one on Coast Hwy.

This small grocery is slightly more expensive, but very convenient to the 101. Certain times, such as evening, can find the counters slowed with multiple customers. Dont be swayed by the old school style posters in the window; the staff members are very friendly, and youll be able to get whatever you might need at the last minute.
