this place is for you. They carry closeouts etc at extremely low prices and if they have something you want you'll get a great deal. This is definately no frills shopping but you can find very nice things (crystal for example) for a fraction of what they would cost retail. Keep going often as their stock continually changes and you have a better chance of getting good stuff. Check out rheir website for a schedule of new arrivals.

This is a fun store for gift buying ideas. I buy all my scented candles there at a huge discount. Once I broke one and felt like such a dork but the sales people didn't care a bit. They just laughed it off, and told me it was their fault. How cool is that.

Tuesday Morning, in Pasadena, Santa Monica and elsewhere, has tons of surprising bargains on brand-name housewares. Stock changes frequently.

This is a great little store that is very decently priced. It's got a ton of houseware and decorative items (candles, pictures, frames, cooking utensils and appliances, fake flowers, etc.) similar to what you'd find in the home department at Ross or Marshall's. You'll definitely want to spend more than a few minutes looking around, as you never know what you'll find. The prices are great.
