Mimi's Cafe

Last week I, my wife and our 3 year old daughter made our weekly trek to Mimi's at Lakewood Mall. We had a good meal and the service was exceptional (in a good way), however, dessert was a new experience. The meal my wife usually orders

The food was great, the service was okay. But what really impressed me was the only reason we went here is because my daughter received a complimentary meal as an award from her school. When we finished our meal the manager came over and asked what the certificate was awarded for and gave her a Mimi's Cafe pin. My daughter was so jazzed - she felt so proud and so special. She held onto that pin all the way home. It was well worth it.

CONS: Service was a bit slow and the order a bit confused

I absolutely love this restaurant. It has the cutest interior with pink chairs and flowers everywhere. One of my favorite dishes is the quiche with a blueberry muffin and fruit. I also love the salads and the desserts. The portions are huge and the cost is really reasonable for the amount of food you get. A++

Great place when you want a good meal and a lot of it. I usually go to the one in Fountain Valley but I was in the area and tried this one. Like the others, this has cute French decor and a very clean and organized atomosphere. The food is prepared fresh and the bonus is their fresh breads and muffins if you go in the morning. They also have a really good chicken cesaer salad.
