I hadn't been to the eye doctor in about 4 years, and realized that my vision was getting worse. Dr. Cheng took the time to discuss my issues and I cam out of here with the cutest glasses. Thanks Dr. Cheng and staff.

Unlike other visits to the optometrist, Blackstone's optometrist takes his time with his patients, so much that he recommends a 2-visit checkup to test out any new eye prescriptions. Being a patient with slight astigmatism, I was given the opportunity to try out two brands of contacts for a week in order to find the right fit and vision. During the routine "is it clearer here, or is it clearer there?" session, I didn't feel the pressure of "getting the right answer" as I do with other optometrist. The Blackstone optometrist was very patient and thorough in double-checking your vision prescription. The eyeglass selection is pricey, though, with average frames costing $200. I also wouldn't recommend buying disposable contacts from them, since they overcharge for certain brands. I recommend coming here to get a prescription, and then going to an online contact lens supplier to purchase your contacts.

PROS: No "puff" test for glaucoma. This optometrist uses another technique.
CONS:
