First visit was in the late afternoon during their downtime so the owner was taking care of the floor. He treated us especially nice as if we were family that stopped by. Kind attention to our every whim being gracious with his hospitality. Both of us were craving a hamburger so the word 'Barbecue' on the front of the restaurant caught our attention. Hadn't a clue that we'd be served up some top of the line Angus beef so not messing around ordered a humongous burger with fries. Very satisfying to say the least. Fries were made from a baking potato so they were very long, wide and great tasting. While being serviced, a biker group came in and apparently were regulars. We started up a conversation saying that it was a dream for us that one day we'd be hitting the road on a bike too. Most unlikely they probably thought yet humored us knowing that we may be a biker in spirit so that counts for something. On our way out a biker couple offered to take pictures of my husband and me on his lady's shiny cobalt blue bike. We obliged gratefully with gleeful excitement to be for a moment part of a cultural icon suggestive unmistakeably of being free without ties except to the highway. Later we went on to our daughter's college recital, returning back to Steve's Barbecue with our small group of family and friends going back for more good times enjoying good food, live band, all topped off with great service.

The BBQ here is delicious!!! It is a nice little building, and always kept very clean. It has a family-fun atmosphere and the workers are all very friendly. The Baby back Ribs are my favorite!

I have never actually tasted the barbeque, sorry...but i have gone many times on friday and saturday nites...its rockin'...there is always a cool band playing or dj music playing...the dance floor is very, very small but for some reason as ur up there dancing, it doesn't feel like it...the little appetizers are alrite but if you are mainly there for drinks, it shouldnt really matter...21 and over, no cover fee...great ambience and people.

Pros: good bands play great cover songs or their own stuff
