This place is EXCELLENT! I've only been there once, because it's a bit pricy, but the one time I went I was trilled. We got the Calamari appetizer, and then I got the Blackened Filet Mignon, which came with these buttery-garlic mashed potatoes. Everything tasted sooooo good! Can't wait to go back again!!

Some of the best food, service, and atmosphere I have ever experienced. I love to go here with friends and order a lemon drop (which comes in a glass and a side mason jar!) and the popcorn crawfish! There ceaser is to die for and the Palace Pasta Royale had my mouth watering. Give it a try and you will be as hooked as I am !

I really enjoyed my dinner at the Palace. Everyone was very nice and really pushed for everyone to have a nice dinner. We tried the fried crawfish tails as an appitizer, and they were great. The menu is more new cajun... meaning I never ate Jambalya pasta at growing up in Louisiana. And they didn't have the required fried main menu items. I would love to see the crawfish tails and shrimp fried that way on the main menu.
I had a cup of the Gumbo Ya Ya, and it was very nice. The reaux was perfect. For my main course I had the Crawfish Crab Cake appetizer which came with a scoop of rice and was perfect because... YOU HAVE TO SAVE ROOM FOR THE BREAD PUDDING! It has to be ordered with your meal but it is Well Worth it.
ALSO, if they give you something to look at when the music starts, Enjoy! That was fun!

Pros: Great atmosphere, great service, and Bread pudding!

Cons: didn't have the expected fried stuff

The Palace Grill is my all-time favorite restaurant. The first time I went there, the food almost brought tears to my eyes it was so good. The flavors are bold and balanced and everything just melts in your mouth. The crawfish stuffed steak is my favorite. I was a little scared of the crawfish at first, but don't be. This is an awesome dish that will keep you coming back for more. The atmosphere is great and the waiters are friendly. It's pricey, but completely worth it for the food and experience.

The Palace is a very popular restaurant in Santa Barbara. The food is really good, with large portions. The desserts choices are also really good! The servers are all really friendly as well!

This was one of my favorite meals of all time. My husband and I were recommended to this place and we couldn't have been happier with our meal. We started out with pepper martinis, which sounds gross but were amazing. They give you these assorted mini muffins to start which I could have eaten all night. We got some sort of tasting meal which allowed us to try everything from crawfish to blackened salmon to fried shrimp to crab cakes. I'm not a fan of cajun, but this food was incredible. Our waiter was extremely helpful as well and really funny. At the end of the night, everyone sings together, but we ended up missing that part :( All in all, if you want great food in SB at an adorable restaurant, try The Palace.

We love this place! You're served five different
kinds of yummy mini-muffins to start, their
pastas are fantastic (we love the crawfish lafitte)
and the bread pudding souffle with whisky cream
sauce is to die for! I feel like driving up right now.

This is a favorite place for locals and visitors alike! Great food, ambiance and happy hour. I was here just last week for Happy Hour with a friend and we had yummy margaritas and the delicious appetizers are $3.00 off during this time. Good food, attentive service, and really nice patio to sit on when the weather is good, which is most of the time! :) Parking is a bit challenging to find, but there is a public parking structure nearby.

PROS: unique place, one of a kind!
CONS: none

The Palace is one of my favorite resturants in Santa Barbara. The food is oh oh so good, tip- order the bread pudding in advance, it takes 30 min. The crawfish appetizers are yummy, and I really don't like crawfish. The staff is fun and in the evenings be sure to stick around for the sing along. Its a great place to go with a lot of friends or for a special celebration. Oh and please try the margaritas.

PROS: Awesome food
CONS: Santa Barbara Prices
