THINK TWICE before hiring this company to do anthing. Definitely do not hire Valentino Green to do landscaping because their employees are untrained. And their office staff will LIE TO YOU should you ask for the owner to file a complaint.
On the morning of Feb. 5, 2013, I was installing a new dishwasher so I turned OFF the water to my condominium. Without any warning, a Valentino Green employee (hired by our HOA) was watering the grounds and turned ON my emergency water shut-off. This is an outside lever with a red handle, and basic common sense would be to leave it alone if turned off; a true landscaper would know this. So when he turned that red handle the full force of water pressure exploded into my kitchen, then overflowed into the dining room. It was an unbelievable mess and I was upset. After initially being told, "the owner is out of the country for 30 days" (which was a lie), I got Elvis Marroquin on the phone and he told me it is not his problem and he is "not liable."
I spent 3 1/2 hours cleaning, and then tried to dry the carpets in the dining room as they were saturated. I was concerned about mold with that much water in the carpet padding. It took a full week for the padding to finally dry; and I then had my carpets cleaned. I sent Mr. Marroquin the bill for $150 with a request to call me to discuss the matter. Mr. Marroquin has ignored my requests to get this resolved.
At this point I have no choice but to file a complaint with the State Contractor's License Board and/or take Valentino Green Landscaping to small claims court.
Again, please to do not hire Valentino Green Landscaping. This company does not deserve your business or my business. Thank you for taking the time.
