I have bought many many furniture items from Postma's furniture over the last 17 years. I have never been displeased. Bill, the owner, is a fabulous man and is so honest and trustworthy. His type of store and who he is as a salesperson and owner is rare to find. Recently, my bed rail broke and Bill went above and beyond to help me with the repair. My bed was purchased from his store 17 years ago...but he did the research to get me a matching rail and have it installed. Everyone in his store is nice and not pushy for sales. I'd recommend this store to everyone!!

Great Furniture, Great Prices, Great People. This is our second time around buying furniture from Postma. First round, bought Oak Bedroom furniture, bought, and delivered in a week. 2nd round, bought full dining room set. That was back around the end of March. Was told it would deliver in a week or less. Set up the delivery and was called the day of to say furniture was not available for another Month, (May 1st.) Called in mid April for progress report, and now furniture will not be ready until May 17th. Hopefully this date sticks. Great furniture, just don't be in a Hurry.

UPDATE:
It is now May 21st. We bought our furniture on March 29th. That is a full 8 Weeks. They had no problem cashing my check for $2734.42 on March 31st but can't seem to get my furniture to me. Oh, and my 3rd date of promise, May 17th, yeah, that didn't happen either. Last time I spoke to Bill Postma, same old story, "sorry, there are more delays getting your furniture." Not sure what their "Satisfaction Policy" is, but I am not the Least Bit Satisfied at this point.

Another UPDATE:
I get a call around 1245 Friday, May 21st from Bill Postma. He has an update. At this point it can't be too bad of news, Right? It is. Looks like next week is good still, he thinks. He "hopes" to have the furniture for me. Hey, only 8 weeks right? So I ask about his "customer satisfaction" policy, and I get, "sorry to keep you waiting like this, talk to you next week." REALLY, THAT'S IT? No, here's 10% off, Here's 20% off your next purchase if you come back. NOTHING. Bill Postma, your Customer Service STINKS. The part above about "GREAT PEOPLE," Yeah, scratch that. I sure hope my furniture is perfect because if I find even one scratch, you can have it back!!!! All, DON'T EVER SHOP HERE!

Another UPDATE:
Monday May 24th. Called Postma's at 1230 to get an update. Was told Bill would call me back shortly with some info. It is now almost 1600 Still Waiting. 2 MONTHS NOW and still no Furniture. This is insane!!

Another UPDATE:
Tuesday May 25th. Called Postma's at 0835, since I never received a call back from them Monday. What a shock. Bill passed blame to GS Furniture. Called GS, and after several questions, the lady there hung up on me. Then I called Paul, with GS Furniture Sales. Same run around how the container with my table on it is stuck in the port. I work with the port every week, and I have never heard of more than a 36 hour hold. I am really getting tired of getting jerked along.

Final Update (I Hope): May 25, at 1230 I get a call from Bill Postma. It's a miracle, they now have my table, chairs, and both china cabinets!!! Guess they just found them "laying around" somewhere in the warehouse. Delivery is set for Thursday Afternoon. Should I hold my breath on this one? I think not. I'll believe I have my new funiture when I see it in my dining room. I just hope they "found" the right stuff and not some "similar" replacement.

They have the best selection of quality furniture you can find.Bill, Val and other staff go out of their way to help you and if they don't have what you are looking for they work to find it.The store has been around for yrs. and the display of furniture and decor items are placed so what you see is room settings to give you and idea of what you might want to buy.Bill, the owner is a stately looking gentleman with beautiful white hair. Val, is a lovely young lady who has been employed at Postmas for over 15 yrs.I suggest you stop by and look around; maybe purchase something and get to meet these nice people. They sell everything from appliances to small fireplaces...and all the beautiful items you may want in your home.Connie TroupeBellflower, CA

I had purchased a special made lamp from Postmas furniture several years ago. I needed to replace the glass beads on several strands. When I called to see if they could help me find the beads for it, I expected to get a phone number for the manufacture and I myself, do all the calling and purchasing of the beads. When I called them, they called the manufacture found the exact beads for me and did all the follow up. I didn't really have to do a thing. They are great! I really appreciated all the help that they gave me. And I live in San Diego, Ca. Thanks again!

Postma's Furniture Store has very beautiful and excellent quality furniture and more. Our first purchase was a complete bedroom set several years ago, and we continue to visit Postma's on a regular basis. Postma's Furniture store has one of the best customer satisfaction policys in the area--they just want the customer to be happy. We've never had to test this because we've always been very pleased with everything purchased from Postma's (a bed frame and mattress, computer desk, entertainment center, sofas). The furniture is well-made, attractive and wears well. Postma's also did a beautiful job with the carpeting in our den which involved stairs and covering and padding a lot of cement. The furniture does tend to be on the "heavy" side and of a darker wood, harking back to the days when Postma's sold pieces to fill the sprawling well-built houses on prosperous dairy farms. The store also sells smaller items such as lamps and does deliver.
