Sunflower Authentic Vietnamese

This place is a hole in the wall, if you do not get a table in the 16th Street side walk around to the Valencia side there are more tables there, as some mentioned sit towards the back....Food is great, and the service could be a little slow (only two guys working) but you wont be disappointed. I hope they move the location is not good. but then again that area has gotten better over the years.

This has to be the best Vietnamese place in the Mission.. I had their 5 spice chicken which was super tasty at a reasonable price.. can't wait until I'm in the area again to try this place again.

Make sure you seat in the back area (on 16th st) for the real experience of dining at Sunflower. This is a simple, hole in the wall type of place, with absolutely delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Don't miss the Sunflower garlic noodles topped with a bunch of prawns!

The food is excellent, from inexpensive lunch plates (including soup) to savory family-style noodle, meat, and vegetable dishes. Be sure to get the garlic noodles!

PROS: They can usually take large groups without waiting.
CONS: Parking can be a headache.
